Hotel itself would have been comfortable - but - they had turned the air conditioning off, claiming it as ‘broken’ to all the members of our small tour group.
Later as we checked out the desk clerk said it had been turned off for the ‘winter’. Our stay was in Sept with temps in the mid to high ‘80s. Even with a fan, it was still uncomfortably hot.
Breakfast, while good, was quite expensive by Bucharest standards. (40 Ron per person)
Front desk *never* had change for cash payments, instructing guests to go down the street to a grocery store to get change.l in order to pay small charges.
We stayed in much more accommodating lodgings during our 2 weeks in Romania. Not recommended.
