Just ok

We didn't like that despite asking for a higher floor, we were given a room in the "basement" with all the conferences rooms. Asking for a change and they never replied. Activity in the lobby was questionable. We would not stay here again.

Close to dinning area and mall...great location

Business trip......certainly was the ideal location. Train service in walking distance....hotel can shuttle you also if you choose. Ideal location.

Located in buckhead, easy access to the city. Does the job with no thrills attached, comfortable room, relaxed and helpful staff.

Great place to stay

Great hotel with awesome staff. Everyone who worked there was so nice. Hotel is in a perfect location, walking distance from the train station which we used to get around Atlanta and walking distance to mall, many bars and restaurants, and grocery store.

Evacuation

Pros: The staff and personnel. Friendly and compassionate and caring
Cons: Needs to be modernized and cleaned up and painted in places
Location: Shopping centers dining bars movies safe to walk
Evacuated to this hotel from Florida for Hurricane Irma. Hotel facilities could use some sprucing up and maintaining. The staff and personnel are the jewels in this hotel. They took wonderful care of hurricane shocked Floridians and their families and pets. They had a family den where you could go for snacks, beverages, board games water and tv. Hotel did have a leak in the hallway leading from lobby. The kitchen did a yeoman job in getting meals and food to people. The waitress in the grill was so sweet in getting everyone coffee. Our room cleaner I think her name was Felicity was there to clean up rooms all by herself on the day the hurricane struck Atlanta. She stuck around until late to be sure rooms were cleaned and beds changed. We have stayed at this hotel when it was Terrace Garden Inn, 25 years ago. The location is good in that it is right across the street from Lenox Square shopping mall and about 2 miles away from Phipps Plaza. The hotel did have a shuttle that would take you anywhere within 3 miles and you could call them to pick you up after you were finished shopping or dining at one of the malls.

Great staff, disappointing level of cleanliness

Pros: Attitude of the staff.
Cons: Improve the restaurant food and service.
Location: Location is excellent, within walking distance of two of Atlanta´s main shopping malls and a MARTA train station.
While this hotel has hired and trained staff to be extremely courteous and friendly, it disappoints on the question of cleanliness. In a week's stay, I never saw anyone cleaning public areas and elevators. The latter were, unfortunately, dirty. The room was equally unkempt. The carpeting seemed like it was never cleaned, and so were the bed, and so were the blankets. Dust covered the night table.

The hotel staff upon arrival greeted us with kind and southern hospitality. Once we got to the room we were amazed at the fresh scent of the room and the cleanliness.

Good location

I was disappointed to find out parking was extra. 28 dollars more. Room was expensive without the cost of parking. I will stay somewhere else next time.

Odd stay.

Service was definitely off. My family stayed here multiple days. Between one day our room was never cleaned. My son slept on the fold out and we asked for a blanket multiple times, but one was never delivered. There were four of us and we kept only getting two towels to use. I don't understand how nicer, more expensive hotels lack on the basic necessities that are abundant at cheaper places.
