Neat, pleasant hotel, 30m walk from Bletchley Park

Pros: Staff were all very nice and accommodating. Free breakfast selection was excellent.
Cons: Cooked breakfast quite pricey.
Really great staff, rooms were pleasant but beds were a little uncomfortable. We asked to be moved once to another room because some other guests were being very noisy; our request was accommodated without any fuss.

Time for an Upgrade - past its use by date

Location: The Club and a few pubs.
This motel caters for a particular clientele. Business and party goers. The club nearby is very handy for the LGBTI community. The rooms are dated. There is no lift although there are 2 levels. Not easy with a heavy suitcase. You have to request a hairdryer, ironing board and there is no fridge in the room. There is nothing really around in the local area so you will need to travel up to Milton Keynes for real shopping and entertainment. The restaurant was good value - reasonably priced simple meals. The pre booked full English breakfast is great value at 5 pounds. Staff were helpful and friendly at all times. Its quite a distance from the MK rail station...about 8 pounds in a taxi.

Handy for Bletchley Park

Pros: Pleasant staff & good location.
Cons: Rooms could do with an update. They are clean but a little tired.
Location: Bletchley Park is wonderful. Also the Great Train Robbery bridge is only 20 minutes away (although my wife wasn't impressed!).
Cheaper than other hotels nearby so booked for 2 nights while visiting Bletchley Park. Midweek so Club opposite was closed. Friendly staff; decent food; rooms were basic / a little tired. 5 minutes drive from BP. Overall, cannot complain at the price paid.

Pros: Staff, food, good room and general air of relaxing efficiency
Cons: For this kind of hotel not much really.
Location: As I was there on 'business' I wouldn't know. Local shops are handy for picking up snacks and drinks for the day. The Grand Union Canal is close by.
There's a night club across the road so it might be too noisy at times for some. Staff were helpful and efficient, oh, and nice too. The food, though fairly simple, was excellently prepared. All in all, just what I needed whilst doing a course away from home. The WiFi was good too and you can't always say that about Hotel WiFi.

Very firm mattress combined with too soft pillows made it difficult to sleep well. Staff were excellent. Decor was a little oppressive

Pros: Nothing
Stayed recently at the Northampton campanile and that was good which prompted me to try Milton Keynes but it was poor in comparison expensive for what you get and would NOT recommend

Campanile Milton Keynes

Pros: Location
Cons: The bed and general room décor. More towels provided in room.
Location: One night short stay so unknown.
Only a single night stay. New to this hotel but have stayed with Campanile before, usually on the continent. Not too bad as a budget hotel goes but perhaps a little too basic. Room average, a bit 'rough around the edges' and bed not comfortable, far too hard for us. We had a room away from the road so quiet enough. Had a decent meal at the hotel restaurant and not expensive. Good location with easy access & parking. Internet not good value in my opinion, 20 minutes free only! Would possibly stay again/recommend but for the bed!

Pros: Location to Milton Keynes
Cons: Checkout procedure & wifi offering.
Location: Not a tourist, it was close to Milton keynes
Good off road parking, nice basic food offferings, disappointed with only 20 minutes free wifi. Long wait at checkout in the morning as only one member of staff on duty. Otherwise it was a pleasant enough experience.

I would think about paying half of what they charge for that place.
