The trek to the rooms was endless, not over impressed with this. Room was a little tatty, the water came out of the tap more forceful than the shower!

Room was discusting, dirty really uncomfy. Paid for superior double wasn't worth £89 standards at Travelodge are 100times better.

Superb setting but a bit underwhelmed!

Lovely setting. Room was small but ample. Bed was extremely soft, too soft for me. Pool excellent. Breakfast excellent but a very limited menu for evening meals.

Beautiful building

Posted Oct 24, 2016 on Ebookers
Pros: Building is great, location is quiet in the countryside, the outside area is beautiful with the pond... Romantic location.
Cons: There was a wedding, so people were still noisy in the corridors very late in the night. Decoration of the restaurant is a bit dull (conference centre). Quality of the food was ok and it was frustrating to order without knowing the price of the menu..
Location: 35' for Waddesdon Manor, 15' from Bletchley Park... Lots of stuff to do nearby.

I wanted this stay to be so good as I had someone special coming over from Spain, thought the location and the grounds were good which they were, but the rooms and the restaurant were very basis and just not worth the money. I would never stay here again the premier lodge is better.

Nice hotel close to Bletchley Park

Posted Aug 30, 2016
Pros: The hotel looked like a manor house with a long drive, lovely quite country side. There were some small thatched cottages to one side.
Very enjoyable stay, staff friendly and helpful. Beautiful hotel and surrounds. We were in a modern part at the back of the hotel, clean and comfortable room. Bletchley Park was an amazing place with an amazing story. Highly recommended.😁

A Big Gem

Posted Aug 27, 2016 on Hotels
Only bad points were its a long walk to your room from the car park if your elderly and the room doors do not close quietly unless you put a lot of effort into it and not many people do. Sound proofing not great when people are talking in the corridor. Other than that the rest of the hotel is fantastic
