Interesting hotel, obviously used to hosting large groups. Room good but breakfast only just passable.
Very good experience. Friendly and unobtrusive staff.
Gorgeous historic hotel with all the amenities. Room 34 has a loft bedroom with floor to ceiling windows and is absolutely the most beautiful room!
The lady at check in was not very welcoming, the man for breakfast did not understand that we were a family of 6 in 3 rooms and sat us separately
Hotel clean and staff friendly. Unfortunately droning noise from the kitchen extraction system was very intrusive. TV volume needed to be raised to hear above the drone, and sleep was disturbed.
Was there only for the night. Room was comfortable and the bathroom was large but in need of updating. Cannot complain for the price which also included a cooked breakfast.
This is a very comfortable hotel. We had a lovely big room which felt quite luxurious! It is very near to Clivedon, which was the reason we chose it. I will certainly be considering other hotels in this chain.
This was a nice place in a location good for cars but not bicycles. Hotel itself was nice. I got very small room--Tokyo size-- but it was clean and bed was comfortable.
Night staff very helpful,.bar open late for snacks and drinks
Superb place to stay, complete luxury and lovely gardens
We were given a room upgrade upon arrival by friendly staff. It was very comfortable. Nice whirlpool bathtub. In room service was fast. We enjoyed our stay.
Excellent room. Facilities great. Location fantastic. Can't wait to stay again.
Good hotel, easy to find, good value for money, reception staff excellent. Would happily recommend or use again.
Property and building fantastic. Outdoor nature paths, beautiful gardens. Food average. Courtyard level room tremendous, good space nice bathroom., the three levels of rooms under courtyard level are very very small and a bit tired.
Quick stop on our way to Heathrow, just of the M40. Restaurant and bar looked good and lively, but we chose Fish & Chips from the shop next door.
Room was dusty, noisy and two single beds supplied when double booked. Light bulbs missing, bathroom door handle missing.
My room looked good but as soon as I got in I realised the deadlock on my door didn't engage and the worklamp was not working. I called Reception to help and the man who came didn't seem to realise why a deadlock is important for a woman travelling alone. He explained that the for couldn't be opened ...
We stayed this hotel 4 nights in attic room. It was very nice and clean room with nice view of village. During our stay, it snowed very much. But the shower was very good with hot and good pressure. The staff is very kind and friendly. We would like to come back again! Thank you very much!
