Important tip: Make sure you tell the owner when you are arriving! His contact details are given, and he also emailed us a reminder the day before. He is not always around, so it's important to call/email him if you want to check in promptly. Pros: - Location is close to the popular tourist attractions - Street is full of pubs and bars, as well as restaurants - There is a common kitchen and lounge available to all the tenants (microwave, stove, fridge and things like plates, bowls, pots, cutlery etc). Cons: - If your room faces out to the street, it is very noisy! We stayed in the one facing the interior courtyard, which was quiet - There is no air conditioning in the rooms. And additional fee is charged for AC. - Payment is in cash only

a unique type of hotel! We enjoyed having the use of the kitchen and living area. Very private and quiet.

Centrally located - ok for the price

Posted Sep 11, 2016 on Hotels
The guesthouse is greatly located near Metro, Tram, busses and a good area with lots of restaurants, shopping and more, Easy to find and get to from nearly anywhere in Budapest. However the guesthouse is a bit worn down and old, the windows or doors are not that new - so its a bit noisy from the street - even though its located at the 5. floor. The noise from the Tram and traffic and police / ambulances are loud. The light at the bathroom didnt work all the time, and the towels were not changed for a week. On the positive side there is a kitchen and a form of lounge area to have a cofffe in the morning and cook a little - the location is superb, and the host is trying to do what he can to be a good host.

Worth the money

Nothing special but worth the money. Friendly service. A little bit dirty and a huge problem with the Wi-fi. Good location!

Eitan´s Guesthouse = ja, aber ohne Komfort

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Zentrale Lage
