Pros: Nice for the average nightly price! Staff was courteous.
The Mercure is nice considering the price and the fact that I was staying during the high season for tourism. The negative: There were some issues with the elevator wait times, the shower would always get water on the floor, and the towels were rather thin. The lobby was busy, but then many people in the EU go on their vacations in August. The pool is on the lower level of the "B" building, accessible by going up to the 3rd floor, crossing over the skywalk, and going down in another elevator. If you stay in the "B" building, it takes 2 elevators to get to your room. The positive: Overall, I liked it. Kalvin Square is an excellent location for access to all the public transit and tourist-friendly restaurants along Raday u. (For example, Metro line 4 goes straight to the Gellert thermal baths; Metro line 3 goes straight to the West rail station and to the Deak Ferenc stop, where you can change to M1 or M2.) The staff was always courteous, too.

繁華街からは若干離れているが地下鉄駅側で、施設は充分行き届いている。価格からすればすごく良い。スタッフも親切。鎖橋までは徒歩20分以上かかるかな。

God oplevelse, god betjening, og tæt på oplevelser og metro :) Vi blev opgraderet grundet en fejl ved bestilling, total luksus og helt iorden service :) Elsker Budapest !

Close enough to the action

Hotel itself was a little dated. Hint of mildew smell...but with the little amount of time one should spend in the hotel when in Budapest made it manageable. Location was nice. Close to many of the pubs, restaurants and coffee shops. Highly recommend getting to the Keleti train station and visiting Slovakia while in Budapest...only 2 and a half hour train ride.

Zentral gelegenes Großhotel

Pros: Gute, zentrale Lage
Cons: Alle drei Aufzüge müssen laufen, um die Fahrgastzahl auch morgens bewältigen zu können.
Location: Zentrale Lage in Pest. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und die Budapest-typischen Cafès sind schnell per Metro oder zu Fuß erreichbar.
Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum von Pest direkt an einer Metro-Haltestelle. Mein Einzelzimmer war im Vergleich zu anderen Mercure-Hotels (z.B. Wien) sehr klein und ein wenig hellhörig. Durch die Aufteilung in zwei gegenüberliegende Häuser, die durch einen überdachten Gang im 3. Stock verbunden sind, werden jedes Mal zwei Aufzugfahrten notwendig, die schnell nerven, da von drei Aufzügen nur zwei liefen, die die Personenmengen nicht immer bewältigen.

Sentral beliggenhet. Metro rett ved siden av

Pros: Beliggenheten
Cons: Heisen. Vi bodde i 8. etasje og noen ganger måtte vi vente 15 min på at heisen skulle komme opp. Det var ingen trappoppgang
Location: Veldig sentralt. Gåavstand til det meste
Vennlig og serviceinnstilt personale. God frokost og rent på rommet.

Redelijk goed hotel op een hele goede locatie

Prima hotel. Ziet er netjes verzorgd uit. Kamer was redelijk; wat kleine mankementen. Alleen jammer dat het raam in de kamer niet open kon en daardoor de airco de hele nacht aan moest blijven.

Algemeen goed hotel

Hotel goed, ligging goed. Ontbijt naar Mercure standaard. Enige minpunt was dat de douchebak een beetje aan de krappe kant was, breedte was nog geen 50 cm. Maar verder een goed hotel, zou een 2e keer het zelfde hotel kiezen. ;-)
