Nicer than last time we stayed here

We have stayed here in the past and the staff were really rude. This time better than before with the exception of two of them. Our keys would not work. My daughter went to get breakfast and got locked out. Instead of being helpful to let her back in they refused to let her in. Had to make a call to yell them to let her in. Clerk was rude to me over the phone but finally she got a new key. Was very frustrating on my end.

Horrible for someone who's trying to get a good s

Our room was close to a restaurant called Golden Nights, around 10pm we started hearing loud music, people screaming and yealling, i called the lobby at 11:30pm and explained to BRENT what was going on and to ask if they could change me to another room. He said there was nothing he could do and cannot reimburse me the money and gang up. I went down to the lobby and tell him I didn't appreciate him hanging up and asked if I could speak to management, he said I will need to wait next day after 8am. He handed me a paper and told me I could call the BP police and make a complain about the restaurant because the hotel cannot call, it needs to be done by the hotel guest. I was never informed about the complaints they had about the loud and disturbing noise of the restaurant. If your planning to stay in this hotel just make sure you dont get a room facing Beach Blvd or on the side where the restaurant is located. Also ask the hotel to give you the paper that explains guest complains about the noise has to be made by the guess. NEXT MORNING I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH MANAGEMENT AND SOME YOUNGESTER TOLD ME HE COULD HEKO ME THAT MANAGEMENT WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

Impersonal, average hotel room.

When I checked in the staff were hardly friendly and warm. They starred at me with dead mackeral eyes. My room was well worn. The sound of the freeway was clearly audible. It was clean but clearly has seen many years' service. The breakfast is the least you could expect, some kind of industrial orange coloured drink, waffles, white bread toast and crappy cereals.

Couldn’t be worse. We got there at 11pm tired only to be faced with a filthy and noisy room. No good at all.

A GREAT PLACE, BUT . . .

Pros: The good news is the room was clean, although it looked like someone had sat on the bed when we first came it. Yet the bed was soft and huge.
Cons: The ice machine was broken and no sign was on it, nor was there directions to the nearest available one. C'mon every one needs and ice machine.
Location: Lots of places to eat, shop and experience
The price was spectacular and the room was stupendous, but it would have been one of greatest stays we ever had, except for all the cheap cost-saving measures that we encountered! First the room refrigerator didn't have a freezer. All the appliances were unplugged on arrival. The frig, the clock radio, the lamps, the TV and the air conditioner were all off and unplugged. Yes, I had to set the time on the clock radio! Two bath towels for two adults (What? I'm 6'1" 260lbs). The so-called bath towel were like a thong to me and I could only use one! Then there was an itemized price list placed on the bed of how much each item would cost. Insinuating that we would want to take the coffee maker that wasn't plugged-in and the cord went somewhere behind the big TV and the massive stand that it was sitting on, so there was no way to plug it in anyway! Jeez!!! You got our credit card number on file, if those items are gone, charge us. Lastly, the shower had one of those universal handles where you can't get the water to flow full-force. C'mon man, fix that and put two separate temperature faucets like the rest of America uses. I am not vacationing in Europe!!!

Hey - it's cheap, AND good.

Pros: The staff was helpful.
Cons: Well...for the money? I wouldn't expect anything more.
Location: Prime location. You can walk to Knotts Berry Farm, Medieval times, and more. Restaurants, shopping.
I searched for the lowest priced hotel I could find and this was it. Sure, the rooms are really generic and have the bare minimum as expected... Over-bleached towels, cheap bedding... but the staff gave the kind of service I've often received at hotels 3X the price, and considering what I paid? If I am in the position of needing a budget hotel again in this area, I'm coming back for sure.

Not worth it

Please don’t go “cheap” like i did and save some money. I tucked a chair under the door for extra security. You do not want to stay here.
