Nice place.

Posted Sep 12, 2017
Two night stay here was great in this resort town. I would like to suggest some sort of wall mirror outside of the bathroom so more than one person can get ready at once. Breakfast was ok lots of choices but not anything special. Would stay again.

Convenient and comfortable room

Posted Aug 30, 2017
Pros: The rooms.
Cons: Desk service and quality of breakfast
Location: Lots to do, great area
Hotel desk staff was more interested in talking to each other than checking us in and I thought it was odd there was no elevator. However, rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool and hot tub were nice. I thought the gift shop was exceptional.

Amy, we apologize about the situation you encountered at check-in. No, we do not have an elevator, but we're happy to accommodate specific first-floor room requests! We are pleased you enjoyed the pool, hot tub, guest room, and gift shop.

Nice hotel at edge of town

Posted Aug 25, 2017
Took grandchildren for weekend. Stayed here because of pool. Had pool completely to ourselves on 3 occasions. Nice cozy courtyard in back. Beautiful covered deck adjoining wonderful coffee bar and gift shop. Great continental breakfast. Kids and I played board games and cards in plush lobby while grandma watched the Broncos in the room. Over-the-top friendly front desk lady. Overall wonderful experience. Would absolutely stay here again.

Close to 14ers and Trails

Posted Aug 23, 2017
Pros: Close to trails and outdoor activities.
Cons: Hotel is getting a bit tired.
Location: Every sort of outdoor mountain activity imaginable!
We've stayed at this Best Western 3 times on hiking/running trips through the surrounding mountains. It's a really good base for many trails - Colorado, Continental Divide - as well as several 14ers. It's beginning to show its age - a bit dingy - but clean and comfortable. Our last room had a very heavy smell of disinfectant which was a bit off putting, but the windows open and there's lots of fresh air! The staff is great - very helpful - and the View coffee shop is excellent..

Staff of this hotel went out of their way to help

Posted Jul 20, 2017
Pros: Friendly staff and very easy to get in and out of hotel. Breakfast was a bonus, lots of variety and staff was amazing.
Location: We rafted and hiked around the beautiful country. It truly was spectacular and all of the people in town could not have been nicer!
Beautiful location and very friendly and pleasant atmosphere.

No sleep, no decent food.

Posted Jun 21, 2017 on Hotels
Despite asking plainly for anquiet room out of concern of parking lot lights and noise in our assigned parking lot faving window, we were not moved and were assured there would be no disturbance. Wrong! Parking lot sounds kept me and my kids up until 11pm, then a selfish moron ran his loud truck with headlights in our window at 4:30am for 20 minutes. Horrible! So sorry we stayed at this hotel and trusted the front desk that we would be able to sleep! Really harmful to happy vacationing when you can't sleep. Lastly, the breakfast foods were mostly inedible. Sad old canned fruit, biscuits gone bad, powdered scrambled eggs, watered down fruit juice. We left the hotel starving amd exhausted innthe AM after paying $180 for one weekday night. Disappointing.
