Overall the hotel was great expect for o asked and had a tag intbe door not to enter and they did anyway and moved my things. The fridge was locked which was so annoying so I had to pay a deposit just to put my own water inside at the end they gave me my deposit back but the process was annoying. Breakfast was a good selection and tasty.

"Tricky advertisement, but good location."
Spent a long time picking where to stay. There where a lot of cheaper options that offered good rooms. I carefully read what the room included and they showed photos of how it looks like. Once I booked I received a confirmation with the photo of the room. My surprise when I get there and room of the photo is actually their suit and standard room looks completely different. Now, their suit looked honestly fair for the price I was paying, so I never thought it would be a different room. If I had known what they were really going to give me I might have ended up booking some where else. Hotel is old, decorated as a hostel but clean. Breakfast seemed great the first day, boring by day four. The receptionist acted like they were trying to help but they were really not, they never smiled or tried to make me feel welcomed, in fact I felt like they were annoyed all the time. I could tell they didnt want to really help. Waiters were nice but I hated that they would ask for tip. (We were tipping them anyways... So it was completely unnecessary and made us feel a little awkward). House keeper on the second floor was extremely nice and smiley, I loved her. Also room was clean... everything was perfectly clean. The hotel had an excellent location that will allow you to walk to Centro Historico/Zocalo. Over all it is an OK hotel but I would try something better for that money next time.

"Exceeded expectations"
My family of four was very please with our stay. Location is fantastic if you want to be right in the middle of the zocalo area. I was also looking at a place in roma norte, but now I'm glad we went with this place. It's true there is street noise, but at least for us, it faded during sleep hours. The facilities are very clean and nice, and everything worked. We had also wanted to stay at that other historic hotel on the zocalo (can't recall the name..the one with the beautiful ceiling in the lobby). I think our experience was probably just as good at ZC. I was most impressed with the staff, though. I'm usually pretty critical, and I hate staff that are obsequious without getting anything done. These folks were genuine, and also efficient. They worked with me on a refund issue beyond what they needed to do.

Fabulous hotel right on the main square. Hotel is very grand! Safe and secure with uniformed doormen. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. My booked shuttle left me stranded at the airport and the hotel came to my rescue and sent someone to pick me up.

I have stayed at the Roommate Valentina hotel for the last 4 years and won't stay anywhere else! The hotel is perfect in every way. The best part is it's location as it is in the middle of everything, with bars/clubs and restaurants being seconds away. I love this hotel!
