I was not allowed to check in due to the government’s Coronavirus mandate. Looked like a nice hotel. The clerk was very apologetic. The hotel is located in a business district.

Great location, great staff, and a huge amount of space for a very reasonable price. I paid less than $90 a night for an apartment with a large living area with dining table and office, a bedroom, closet area, bathroom and kitchen. Lots of shopping nearby, including a supermarket

This was a great, simple, no-frills place to stay. Clean rooms, good location. But I'm here to comment on the incredibly helpful and friendly front desk staff -- I brought them a ton of little demands (needed a power adapter, needed to print something, etc) and they were wonderful. I'd stay there again without hesitation.

The apartment was very nicely renovated/updated and the layout was great; the staff were also very nice and helpful. The most notable downside was that the sliding door on the bedroom was very difficult to move. The "furnishing" ofthe kitchen was also pretty sparse--it would have been nice to at least have paper towels. Overall, we really enjoyed it.

Staff on desk were amazing! Room was clean but basic. No furniture on balcony. We were there 9 nights and never saw a breakfast at all, let alone like the one pictured. Great location.

The location is great: in the hearth of Recoleta, close to shopping and good restaurants, at this same time quiet, on a side street with almost no traffic. The condition of the apartment is a mixed bag. We had the apartment on the 9th floor. Many places need repainting. The balcony door didn't close - it had been damaged in many places with no sign of repair attempt. The safe didn't work (electronics), so we were finally given the hard key to use it. The water in the toilet kept running all the time. The little kitchenette had just two sets of utensils and plates (literally two of each) and no pots or pens (we asked for some and got two pens). This proved to be not a big deal as we were mostly eating out or buying salad ingredients and other cold items. All the staff were very kind and friendly, willing to help although a bit forgetful at times. AC works great and it is very quiet and effective. At the end of the day, despite the little inconveniences our impression of the place was good. There are many small grocery stores in the area, with a larger one just 60 m from the hotel on the Ave Heras. We would highly recommend buying fresh fruit and vegetables in the local produce stores - great quality, prices, many places in close proximity.

You get what you pay for
this hotel promised to have airport shuttle through hotels.com listing, and is the reason why I chose it. When I called the hotel, they told me that there’s not an option. The best they can do is call a cab. My shower flooded within minutes of starting my shower - the water extended into the bedroom. The WiFi does not work in the room at all - might as well not offer it. It was very noisy. I doubt anyone would want to dip into the pool - the photo is not what the current condition is. Overall, very bare minimum and disappointing.

Rough night
Thankfully this was a one night transit. While the night manager was lovely the room was in need of some love. It was basic at best. Airconditioner from the next room kept my husband awake, balcony door had all locks removed (was secured by fenced area) and the deal breaker was the cold shower. After 15 minutes my husband got some warm water. Cancelled our next transit.

best place to be in Buenos Aires
From the time we arrived to the when we left, we were totally impressed by how kind and helpful the staff was. They made our stay even better! We had the one of the larger units, it even had a second bathroom! The location was perfect, near the Recoleta cemetery, lots of beautiful parks and museums.

We loved our time in Buenos Aires. The hotel is at a great location in Recoleta, close to great restaurants, and tourist spots. Walkable distance to many attractions. The apartment we stayed in was very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was very good. And the staff... Amazing! Couldn't thank enough all the staff, they were always prompt to help. A special thank you to Lucas, we'd probably have missed our flight back home if it wasn't for him. If ever back to Buenos Aires, will definetelly stay there again.

Fails the traveler in a critical way
We stayed in room 101 in Dec. 2016. Both locks on the sliding glass doors to the balcony were broken, and since our unit was on the 1st floor, this posed a significant security risk. We stayed 6 nights and despite repeated attempts to get the situation rectified, management did nothing to fix the problem. A wooden or metal bar across the bottom of the sliding glass door would have been a simple and expedient interim measure until the doors could be repaired, but hotel management refused to assist. This hotel is otherwise ok, but cannot be relied on to provide the basics relating to security, precluding it as a choice for me in future.

Nice Hotel in Recoletta
The perfect location in Buenos Aires. Close to the subway so the entire city is only a ride away. Good restaurants in the immediate area. Great cafe - Juan Peron's, just down the street. This hotel and its staff are first class and I would highly recommend for anybody wanting a nice, clean, friendly, convenient location.

Perfect for a weekend stay
I had an early flight, so arrived at 7am. It was obviously long before check in, but they had a spare room, so let me check in there early. I hadn't slept for 23 hours, so it was incredibly kind and appreciated. Staff were helpful and the location is quite central to everything. Room was beautiful and very spacious with a small kitchenette and living area.

Great area of town to stay in BA. There were a few minor maintenance issues with the room; bathroom door handle fell off, shower leaked, beds were harder than I would prefer. The staff are friendly and very helpful, most speak enough English to communicate easily. Breakfast was decent, basic pastries, cereal and fruit. Overall, I'd stay there again.

Friendly Hotel
We stayed at Hotel Alta at the end of our vacation. It's a tiny hotel only 22 rooms,2or rooms per floor. We had one of the smaller rooms, but there was plenty of space. Our room had a kitchenette and a balcony. The lobby was comfortable. We were able to leave our luggage all day while touring and waiting for a late night flight. In the late afternoon after we checked out we spent some time in the lobby waiting for our transport. The workers were very friendly and helpful and didn't seem to mind us hanging out.

Very good choice in Recoleta
Hotel staff are very kind and helpful , specially Federico who always interacted giving tips and helping with anything needed, wonderful with all guests. Good breakfast with yummy medialunas. Hotel is very quiet with very few rooms per floor, no noise to disturb. Recommend without a doubt.

Great location, great staff, great breakfast and room. Only complaints were thin walls so I knew exactly what my neighbors were doing at all times and the shower in the bathroom leaked water on the floor from the base. Overall, I recomment it to travelers who want a nice hotel experience but don't want to spend a fortune.

I loved this hotel!
I was very impressed with this apartment/hotel. The room was tremendous and the staff was incredible. Everyone I encountered went way beyond to ensure my stay was memorable. I stayed for 3 nights. It was clean, quiet, and in a great neighborhood with wonderful restaurants just across the street. It is close to the nice part of town but not so close to the tourist parts like Florida Street. The only problem I had was there were no rooms for a disabled person and this was an issue. They said they sent an email informing me of this but I didn't get it. I am sure the attempt was made. The breakfast was tasty and have no complaints about it. It had a jetted tub with bath salts, yum!

Safe and quiet neighborhood, 10 min. Walk to Recoletta Cemetery, very helpful staffs, delicious restaurant near by. Has a small gym, and small pool inside, but water so cold even in summer, could not get in. Overall, we enjoyed very much.
