Upon our arrival the front desk had given away our room, and instead they put us in two rooms, but they acted quickly to fix the situation and next day we were put in a suite on the last floor. Well done! The front desk was always willing to help and was very resourceful with our city questions, very attentive and respectful. Hotel is clean, breakfast was good.

This hotel is perfect if you like being all day walking around the city, since it is really cheap and you will use your bedroom just for sleeping and leaving your stuff. If you like spending time in the hotel, I think you should not come here. The breakfast is modest, the rooms are small and we had lots of little problems (broken chair, not very comfortable bed and the wifi and WC did not work completely well. Good points are friendly staff and safety (this is very important in a city like Buenos Aires), and the best point is the relation quality-price.

If you are not too fussy, this hotel might be good for you. It really depends on what you are looking for and what you can afford. The room was not spotless clean. The building and the room (including the bedding) were clearly out dated. However, all in all, it offered a good cost/benefit ratio, especially when considering the included breakfast.

We got upgraded to the penthouse suite which was very nice. There were a lot of guests so breakfast was slow.

Cons: madras, renovation
This hotel definitely need some renovation, but is good choice for the price! The room that we got did not look like the fotos, but is had a good size and was very clean. the breakfast was good and staff nice. The madras was bad, but the rest good for the price. The location is fine.

Nice hotel in spite of the so so neighborhood

Pros: Good breakfast selections, helpful staff
Cons: Maybe some seating benches on the street in front of the hotel
Location: Every possible shopping needs are very close by. Sidewalks, other than the one in front of the hotel were in various conditions of disrepair however.
With my family we found the hotel very convenient, everything functioned well

Good value hotel.

Pros: Value, staff, and breakfast.
Cons: Renovate rooms.
Location: Location in somewhat rundown neighborhood, but fairly close to University of Buenos Aires Faculty of Economics.
Hotel provided good value -- reasonable rate. Room quite dated, very basic, and rather drab in appearance, though clean and quiet. Hotel staff very helpful. Nice breakfast included.

I love this part of Buenos Aires, and I had stayed in this hotel once before. The staff of the hotel was very courteous and helpful.
