This hotel does not exist. When we arrived the place was boarded up and there was a paper indicating to go to another hotel about 6 blocks away. There we had to wait quite a while until we were given a room to stay.

When I arrived at the hotel, it was closed. There was an poster which said you needed to go to another hotel where it would take 25mins on foot from the original location. Nobody sent me anything in advance.

The charge for the airport transfer was much different than the advertised price. Hotel is old and needs updating. Lots of street noise on Friday night until late.

Way overpriced . Dirty location. Old building. Noice area. Expensive breakfast. Broken elevators. Horrible WiFi connection. Poot service when asked to adjust pricing. Just a bad experience overall. Had to bare it due to proximity to my office

What can I say that others haven’t said already? The hotel is in a good part of town but it looks like it hasn’t been renovated since the 1960s. Not worth the $100+ they charged for one night. The breakfast bar looked decent, we didn’t try it.

A sweltering oven.
I was there in July, i.e. the middle of winter. This was bad as the rooms don't have their own temperature controls. I.e. it is controlled by the front desk. They had the heat blasting so high it must have been 30 degrees in my room and requests to turn it down resulted in no effect. I had this booked for three nights. I stayed two, then had to find someplace else. Of course, I still had to pay the third night as "cancellations must be 24 hours prior to check-in". Additionally, very poor wifi and I had ants in my room. In fairness to the place, the location is good, they had a decent breakfast and the room sizes were ok.

Almost O.K.
Hot water tap in bathroom sink didn't work. Internet was terrible. Staff are helpful. Our room facing courtyard was quiet. Location is OK. Room and furnishings are run down, worn out, but bed was comfortable enough.

A nice traditional old style hotel in a great area of Buenos Aires. Great staff. Excellent value for money. Would recommend to everyone. Very good Breakfast as well.

Good Price and Great Location
Pros for this hotel were the price and the location. We had two rooms and one was pretty good. In the other room, the fan did not work over the bed and central air for both rooms did not keep them as cool as we would have liked. Lots of mosquitos in one room and no screens on the windows, so I now have about ten bites, which are always a concern in a tropical location. Breakfast was OK, but standard pastries, ham and cheese and nothing too exciting. This hotel is showing its age and is priced accordingly. The Concord, a sister hotel around the block seemed a better choice, but did not see the rooms.

Low budget hotel in BA
For the price, I guess it was okay. The pictures on the website looked nice, but the room was dirty, hairs everywhere, toilet won't flush. The elevator breaks down occasionally, and WIFI doesn't work, we had to use a ethernet cable connection to get very slow internet. Breakfast was good, staff is friendly and helpful, probably the only good things about this place.

Good Trip
My stay in Buenos Aires was great, everything was fine no problems..Went Shopping, ate some good barbecue grill and enjoyed this great city. Also did sightseeing, met new people, and visited some old friends, also did some footing around the city with a nice temperature and I liked it a lot.

Clean central hotel
Firstly the pros Clean Value for money as in it was affordable Location - close to bars on Reconquistador st and not far from Retiro and puerto Madero Great if you love self operated old style lifts Staff friendly enough Toiletries provided CRT tv provided Cons Shower head doesn't spread the water or adjust but this is ok if you like bring hosed down. Wifi was very patchy. Would not connect to floor wifi but could just get lobby wifi if I stood next to the room door. Then it cut in and out often.Not so good for travellers then. Asked for a double got twin singles that were lumpy / springy. Although perfectly clean etc room was just a little dated and needs a refresh. There are better options within a few blocks for a few dollars more but if only here a few nights its fine

The lobby is very noisy, from the first floor you can here everything. Doors are noisy, you have to slam them to close it. Beds are narrow, you fall to the floor when you turn around.

A good value hotel in a central location
This hotel was great value for money in a very central location. There were three of us, my parents and I, and so the room was perfect as it had the third bed on the otherside of the bathroom and near to the door and so I could get in later without disturbing anyone. We had the extra benefit of a balcony which seemed to be the only one in the hotel and had three chairs and a table, although it didn't seem to be part of the cleaning rota, There was a slight smell of damp as the extractor didn't work in the bathroom and the air conditioning was set rather cold and you couldn't adjust it but in general the room was lovely. The reception was very welcoming and there was a buzzer system and so you felt very secure. The staff were well presented and helpful and most spoke english. All in all a lovely experience.

from EZE you may take "Manuel Tienda Leon" shuttle @55 peso to Sheraton hotel and then walk to this Catalina Suites nearby, much cheaper than taxi @160 peso. But no one knew that when I was at the airport. I was directed to the Bus#8, which took me to a spot dozens of blocks away after 2 hours zigzag way throughout the city. worse than that, when i walked to the hotel via the street where the hotel is located, i was attacked by a couple of aggressive thieves who approached me pretending to clean the dirt they threw upon me from behind, i knew this old trick so that just tried to walk away from them but still too late. my money was all gone after i struggled out of them and found it later. bad to have such an experience, isn't it! the street where the hotel is located is a bit desolated and dirty. I don't recommend to walk over there. the hotel staff is nice and helpful. they helped me exchange some bucks after i discovered the situation otherwise i didn't know how to deal with it in the later afternoon at that time.

Felt unsafe and highly unimpressed with quality
I felt rather unsafe when walking to the hotel after dark, the neighborhood seemed to be right on the edge of good and bad, if I went two or three blocks in a couple directions, everything felt fine, but not at the hotel itself. To get in the door, you had to be buzzed in the front door! There was no air conditioning, and I think the heat was still on, as each time I got back to my room, it was extremely warm in the room. The towels were threadbare and rather rough. The first time I pulled the sheets down, I found a number of hairs all over the bed sheet - that certainly weren't mine! Ewww!

Pretty good overall experience. The hotel is old and requires renovation - it felt like I was staying in the a 1960s hotel. But rooms were clean, internet was fast, and location was excellent.

Do not trust hotel photos and Location!
Look for other options. The hotel is NOT in Puerto Madero and the photos do not reflect the real conditions of rooms. I stayed with my wife here. There is no heating control in the room. The heating is centralized. We were freezing even that we call several time to reception to increase temperature, however they told us that other clients request to lower temperature. The treat of the staff is not the nicer and the location is horrible!! and dirty at night. Look for other places!! do not stay here!!

The Hotel, like most in Argentina are old and run-down. The rooms near the road are VERY NOISY. But at least the sheets were clean.

The only good thing about this hotel is that it is central. It's dirty, staff lazy and unfriendly, room service doesn't exist unlike what's written on their leaflet... We stayed there 3 nights, I was sick the second night. We asked them not to do the room but to bring water and toilet paper :-( They never came... And this is only one example...
