Nice hotel for a good price in a great location

I went to this hotel while I needed to work from Buenos Aires for a few days. The room is nice, not so spacious, but quiet. Wifi and bathroom are ok too. Safety box wasn't working, and maybe common areas need more attention like the rooftop pool. Location is very good, quickly accessible from downtown and airport. Lot of cafes, restaurants and shopping in the area.

Adequate hotel in Palermo Soho

Pros: Friendly staff who felt trustworthy made this visit feel better. The main desk staff were very efficient and the cleaning people were nice.
Cons: Fix the blinking lights. Fix the broken room safes. Add back in 24-hour reception staff in the hotel, not down the street. Reinstate breakfast.
Location: Lots of good restaurants within a few blocks. The botanical gardens are nearby. If you dance tango, you can walk to several clubs.
I searched for a hotel to use for a small tour group in December 2015. I visited 5 Cool Rooms and really liked it. During 2016, it was taken over by Didi Soho Hotel. When I arrived in December 2016, there was no longer a reception staff in the building; it is several doors down in the other part of the hotel. There was no breakfast room or breakfast available anymore. The rooms were the same, but our room safe was broken and did not get fixed. The cleaning staff were friendly, but every 2 or 3 days, they would take our towels and forget to replace them. That meant a trip to the other hotel to get towels. The room/hotel entrance card ran out of magnetic oomph every couple days and we had to go to the other hotel to get it re-magnetized. The noise level was OK except for one night when the nightclub between the two parts of the hotel went until 7 am...and so did the thumping of the music through the walls; not a good night.

Buen descanso pero muy descuidado

Veníamos de un vuelo largo y pudimos descansar bien, lo cual fue lo único positivo. El check in se realiza a 30 mts de distancia de la puerta de entrada al complejo de habitaciones lo cual hay que adivinar ya que no hay ningún cartel que así lo indique. Nos dieron la llave de la habitación y no nos acompañaron a la misma. Ésta, era la nro 301 la cual no existe bajo ese nombre, sino que para acceder a ella hay que entrar a una zona privada de la cual no nos advirtieron, por ende estuvimos 10 minutos buscando donde estaba la habitación. La tapa del inodoro estaba quebrada lo cual te pellizca al sentarse. Tiene aire acondicionado pero goteaba y te mojaba al entrar al baño. La cama era cómoda pero el complejo en general lo notamos bastante descuidado. El check out era hasta las 12 pm pero a las 11 am, las mucamas entraron a la habitación sin golpear. Es evidente que no hay mucha comunicación entre ellas y la administración.

Great price & location in Palermo

We needed a basic room in Palermo before an early morning flight to El Calafate. We also will return to this property before catching our flight out of the country. We got in early and they held our bags and are holding our one bag while we travel Patagonia. This is a big help. The main check in area is a few doors down from the Didi Rooms space (at Soho Hotel) and this was not clear until I called and got the instructions in Spanish. Can't speak to the availability of English, as we got by in Spanish. Room 106 was right near the main communal 'living room' space and the main door and slightly noisy still at 10pm. But by 2 am when we checked out it was very quiet and we were surprised to discover a bar with music a few doors down- we couldn't hear it. This place was 20 minutes from AEP, easy access to Ubers in the area and great for shopping and many restaurants/nightlife. Great value and location. Small space, simple offerings but just what we needed for price and location.

This hotel was incredibly dirty and probably the worse hotel I have ever stayed in. I will be contacting you all with pictures etc. Hotels.com should not be representing this hotel.

Good location, nothing else

In general it was not a good experience. Bad breakfast, terrible coffee. Poor Internet connection, uncomfortable bed, dirty room and general facilities. Old TV. This place needs a huge renovation.

my only reservation was that the Hot tub was not hot. Other than that i was pleasantly surprised when i entered the hotel with a feeling of safety and comfort. something you need to feel in Buenos Aires. the staff were courteous and the place is all you need to relax and take a break from the bustling Soho Palermo area. With Plaza Cerrano right down the street there was always something to do. I'm a New Yorker and expect sertain things when travelling. I would reccomend this to any of my friends or family.
