Good location, many details to improve

Posted Nov 29, 2016
Pros: Dream Studios was conveniently located near major commercial avenue Santa Fe, with many shops, a major mall and restaurants within walking distance
Cons: Improve the cleanliness and have a permanent person at the Front Desk
Location: Cafeteria San Martin at the corner of Salguero and Santa Fe is a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Alto Palermo Mall is a short 5 Block walk
1. Cleanliness of the apartment was average at best. The floor rugs could have used a good vacuuming. 2. There two or three burned light bulbs in the apartment and that was annoying. 3. The Master Bedroom had no TV, only the secondary room had one 4. Be aware that during the day, there is NO ONE on the premises to assist you, with things like providing an adaptor for the different argentinian outlets or to lend you a Iron. There is only a guard at the Front Desk some of the time 5. Check in Hours are from 9.00 am until 5pm, which is really inconvenient because in my case, we left the hotel at 8.30 am and did not come back until 19.00 6. our room was not made on Saturday nor Sunday, presumably because we had not made it clear that we wanted the room to be made those two days, at check in. I think it should be the other way around. Make the room unless otherwise specifically stated

Great hotel!

Posted Oct 25, 2016
Location: 2 blocks from Santa Fe Avenue and big mall. Great restaurant on corner. Great location!
The room is simple, clean and modern. There is a stocked little kitchenette. Bathroom is amazing. The staff was incredible. Not only was our welcome kind and warm, but so was the departure. I had a bit of issues getting my suitcases packed, and then I needed to keep them in the office for the entire day while I was out. The woman in the office was so incredibly gracious and giving. I am still amazed at her attitude. So grateful for her generosity.

Well equipped studio, good location, limited staff

Posted Mar 6, 2016
Rooms are very good - beds comfortable, decently equipped mini kitchen, good wifi connections. Location is good, nice restaurants at several budgets, near Santa Fe Ave with lots of shops and a big mall, Bulnes subway station. Easy to get to lots of tourist sites. Hotel staff are only available during 'normal' work hours, rest of time there is a security guard only,

Palermo gem

Posted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: The room was nice, the location was excellent and the staff was friendly and great with recommendations.
Cons: The fourth bed had a really hard mattress.
Location: So many great restaurants and cafes nearby, close to the zoo and botanical gardens and tons of shopping.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dream Studios. What a great location for shops and restaurants!

Palermo Dream Studios

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: The location is perfect, the place is great!. Even though you will face noise during the sleeping time since its closer to social places.
Cons: The cleaning service was terrible. I stayed for about 2 weeks and only had cleaning service 2 times in the 14 days of my staying. I hope they improve.
Location: Lot of places to do and go around and very close to Buenos Aires Downtown. It is great you have the Subte (train) , buses and taxis near by.
I love the location of this hotel/apartment. I recommend everyone who are coming to Palermo. If planning to book in this place, book it online to avoid further issues that I experience being for time in Palermo. It is very informal to check in, you will have no choice to fill your information in paper which is normal in any hotels in the world but besides you have to write your "pin credit card number" which caught my attention due to the risk that your personal information could ends up on wrong hands and be exposed to any identity theft. I gave them 3 out of 5 point rate: #1 reason, for the not good cleaning service and the informal attention in 13 days staying cleaning staff came 2 times only and 3rd time when I told them if they could change the towels and take the trash out. Maybe my excuse could be that it is not a hotel its like an apartment...but dlacont get me wrong I love the place very modern! #2 issue: because I wanted to stay longer in the hotel , I made a mistake for trusting the staff that told me its ok that they will respect my "deal online offer" if i wanted to stay longer but when I came to check in for more day the following morning, I was told by other staff that I had to pay for the rate they had for those days not for the one I was told. That was very disappointing that they don't keep their words. It is not like the USA where your word counts more and is respected. That is why i recommend to book online and avoid those issue I experienced.

Pros: Very clean modern suite
Cons: Only complain is there was nobody downstairs to let me inside. Was told then to go see the admin on 3 floor who was nice and helpful.

Great hotel in Palermo

Posted Dec 31, 2013
Pros: It was really clean!
We found this hotel after having a disaster of an experience at another local hotel. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern and are equipped with a small kitchenette. The staff are incredibly nice and helpful (thanks, Paula)! Much to our surprise, we were even offered a mobile phone to use free of charge during our stay (we were responsible for adding credit a nearby kiosk). The hotel is located in a good area of Palermo which is very close to the Palermo Alto mall. We will definitely stay here again when in B.A.
