comfortable, reasonable price, & good location

Posted Dec 2, 2016
I’ve stayed at the Bel Air twice now and enjoyed my stay. The room was comfortable and quiet. The staff is very nice and very helpful. Breakfast is included. Supermarket and other ammenities are close. 1 block from Av. Santa Fe (shopping street), few minutes from Plaza Francia (Recoleta), Plaza San Martin/Retiro (transportation hub), and walking distance to city center. Taxis easily available. Lots of restaurants in the area. Would definitely stay again.

Great Staff

Posted Dec 15, 2015
Pros: Great rates, in line with Hilton Hampton Inns. Great staff and very clean rooms. Location, Location, Location .
Cons: More light in the dinning area.
Location: This place is ideally situated for walking to many of the cities attractions. Grayline tours picks up at the door. Good safe part of Buenos Aries.
Five day stay at the Bel Air was quite pleasant. The Reception Desk staff were well trained, spoke excellent English and made our stay pleasant. Nick the "bell hop" (if that is still a title) worked tirelessly to wrangle the daily onslaught of baggage and was always eager to speak in English. He and his "partners" on the desk always had a greeting and kept a close eye on the front door. The hotel had employed a nicely dressed security guard who rigorously guarded the front door during the day and after 6pm a very sturdy front gate kept the riff-raff out of the lobby. The breakfast was great, lots of fresh fruit, eggs, potatoes and sausages. Plenty of coffee, tea and milk. Yogurt, cereal, rolls, ham and cheese were available. Room rates were in line with Hampton Inns in the US, just better food, staff and cleaner.

Arrived at 3 PM and our room was not ready. We found a bug in the bathroom. The desk front was not polite as in years befo re.

Thanks for taking a few minutes to complete the Guest Satisfaction Survey to our hotel. We would be grateful if you could extend your comments regarding the service of our staff in the front desk and that your room was not ready when you arrived. Referring the presence of a bug we are periodically making disinfection in our hotel , we apologize for that episode . His observations lead us to analyze the management that are taking place, and are a great help to our " Continuous Improvement Programme " , which is one of the pillars of our business. Perfect hotel in Central Buenos Aires

Posted Mar 18, 2015
Pros: All the above reasons.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of.
Location: Bel Air has a fairly central location, close to the main street Santa Fe. It's a 15 minute walk from La Recoleta Cemetery.
Bel Air Hotel was perfect for me. Comfortable bed, quiet at night, safe in the room, minibar, bath with shower and reliable hot water, good breakfast, friendly helpful staff, WiFi and also computers available that function well. Excellent location on a fairly small street parallel with the main street Santa Fe. No drawbacks, and in all I highly recommend this hotel. Good value.

BelAir Hotel, La Recoleta, Buenos Aires

Posted Sep 24, 2014
Pros: Great location, friendly personnel and access to free internet. CLEAN
Cons: Breakfast: eggs were cold, instead of so many sweets they could provide some cereal or more fresh fruits or boiled eggs.
Location: It is located in a safe and clean area. I felt safe.
The hotel is clean and comfortable; its location is excellent. The personnel is friendly and helpful. There is access to internet for free which is a great plus. Breakfast is not so good but eatable; it needs variation; too many sweets.
