Good value if budget minded
I liked this hotel. For 1/3 to 1/2 the price of better known hotels, the Regent Palace was clean, comfortable, staff friendly, and well located. Centrally located for walking to the grand blvds., restaurants, and parks. It seems popular with the Latin American guests.

not at all what you see adverticed in the pictures
**This is not an accessible Hotel.** When I first saw the hotel in the website it looked nice and reasonably priced. I wrote to them asking if it was accessible and if the rooms had showers instead of bathtubs ;since I am unable to lift my legs to get into a one, and they replied that the one room that was accessible was not available but that there were showers in the other rooms and that I should be ok. This was not true, as all rooms had bathtubs that were 3' high. Also the bathrooms were old, dated and very narrow making it imposible at times to go in comfortably.The room was very old looking, it felt dirty and had a few things that were just not right.The bed was old and had a metal around the mattress like if it was with the coils in the old times and when I sat on it it really hurt my leg. Very uncomfortable. the room was not big at all. I saw the ramp in-front of the hotel in the pictures and thought ok, at least I'll be able to get up the ramp to enter or exit the hotel. I did not anticipate it being so steep. Not even walking can you use the ramp, yet alone with a walker ( like I have) or a wheelchair. it would be impossible. even the Taki man who helped me said it was ridiculous to have such a steep ramp. The staff helped me get my money back since I only spent one night there. The only "accessible" room they have is at least 175 m from the front door!! I do not recommend this place.

Lots of reviews mentioned the property is in need of an update. I agree however the property when built was most elegant. With extremely large dining facility and bar. In any upgrades there should be every effort made to conserve it's elegance. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating for non Spanish speakers.

We made a reservation for three nights, we not even stay two hours. Rooms are dirty, extremely old, and unsafe. Restroom was horrible . The window of the room was completely detach, when we opened the window it felt…We needed to find another hotel, we expended much more money. This totally ruined our trip.

Standard hotel. Nothing special. It was clean, comfortable and close to many attractions. Only stayed one night and It meet my needs. I would have no problem staying again.

Hotel is in ok condition and situated extremely central so good for getting to main tourist areas. Room has very few amenities (no iron, no coffee machine). The mini bar is very reasonably priced though so could at least have water or a beer. Cleanliness is good and the beds are comfortable. Overall i’d say good value for money

The hotel was centrally located and had comfortable rooms. The one thing that I hope could be improved is the breakfast buffet . This was adequate but inferior in quality to others in the area.

Good hotel, nice stay.
Good hotel, but nothing too fancy. The bathroom should be improved, as well as the distribution area. Service is good, breakfast is ok, and garage service is valet-like. The room was not so big, but the bed is huge and very comfortable.

Excellent Hotel/Nice Staff
I normally check the EXPEDIA REVIEWS (last 6 months) before I book any hotel, I understand is difficult to please all clients. But this Hotel surprised me, The staff is very friendly, the hotel very clean, and the breakfast was OK. I can recommend the hotel for people that appreciate the Customer Service.

Convenient location
We found the reception friendly and helpful. Wifi in the room and reception areas worked well. Comfortable double bed. Room cleaning was good and promptly done every day. The area is safe by day and at night.

Really helpful staff and comfortable clean rooms
Great hotel particularly given the prices we had been paying elsewhere. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful, checking us in early and helping us with printing boarding passes etc. They all spoke English too but were gracious about letting us practice our Spanish too. The bed was really comfortable and the room spacious. The coffee colour bathroom could probably have done with a refresh and while the hotel is right in the centre, many things are closed nearby at night as it seems to be more of a daytime area. It was very quiet to be walking around nearby after dark. Having said that would definitely stay again and enjoyed our stay

Handy hotel for city access for tourists.
Hotel was within easy access to shopping, public transportation, sights, and restaurants. Room was clean and well kept. Adequate selection for breakfast. Desk staff were very helpful and spoke English.

Good location but old hotel
Great location in the heart of downtown and close to Plaza de Mayo. The establishment is very old and you can tell this place has its says in 90s or 80s. Good space in the room and nice bed. Breakfast is tasteless and no fresh juices just cans. Anyway I guess you get what you pay for 55-70$ range. For sleeping and close to location yes. But not much to Do inside hotel.

Convenient and clean hotel. Helpful front desk.
Good proximity to all points of interest in Buenos Aires. Breakfast was substandard. Hotel was clean and room was comfortable. Front desk, especially the only woman who worked three times as hard as the men, was very helpful.

A little old, buy elegant hotel at downtown
Nice a little hotel, excellent location. Breakfast was good and included. The hotel is a little old style. We stay at the family suite, kids loved it.

In the Center of the Micro-Centro
This hotel is very convenient. It is a short walk to the Obelisco for sightseeing. There is a large convenience grocery store across the street and a nice parrillada also across from the street for the evenings you don´t feel like walking or going to other neighborhoods for dinner.

Grat Location and Excellent Front Dek Service
We enjoyed our stay although there were extensive roadworks ongoing in front of the hotel but fortunately they did not start working too early !!. Mario on the front desk was especially friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good, especially the scrambled eggs. There were a few finishing touches not quite right in our room and the shower curtain was not very effective in stopping water getting on the bathroom floor. Suoer location and very good parilla virtually opposite.
