Home away from home

Everything was very nice, the service and the people very helpful. except the restroom in our room. The shower tile was very dirty between the cracks. It could use a deep ckeaning. We enjoy our stay and the housekeeper stayed away from our room until we would leave for the day unlike other hotels we've stayed at. Overall very nice

El hotel y la experiencia muy buena en general aunque los muebles de las habitaciones un poco viejos al igual que el baño, las llaves del agua no funcionaban bien. Por lo demas todo excelente.

Sheraton Retiro is definitely worth considering

We had a small issue with the drain clogging up in the bathroom and water spilling on the bathroom floor and the carpet outside the bathroom. The hotel staff acted very quickly to solve the problem and it was addressed in a matter of minutes. Staff is very courteous and attentive.

Great Location

Pros: They seem to be all about the money
Cons: Laundry price list in advance would have been nice
Good location, we were able to walk to most sights, Big Bus stop was close, Florida street was close, lots of restaurants close by, close to cruise terminal. I made one mistake, I had a small bag of laundry done the day before we left on our cruise, 6 tee shirts some underwear and a couple of pair of shorts, the price for the laundry was $100 US or $140 CAD, I could have bought new for less.

Is this really a Sheraton?

A/C issues. Massive water leak from condensation into closet. Said they fixed it. It wasn't. moved us two days later. We packed up our stuff and they told us to go sightseeing and we would be moved to new room when we got back. When we returned nothing had been done AND no new room. They sent us to our old room and said they would send bellman to our room with new Room keys and help to move luggage. Bellman showed up with room keys and NO cart. He said Oh, you needed help?

El hotel es genial, las instalaciones de primera, la pileta fabulosa, la vista es buenísima, tanto de la habitación como el mirador en el piso 24, pero si no te sobra el dinero no podés relajarte completamente pues todos los consumos son costosos y casi todo tiene cargo adicional.
