Wonderful hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast consists of ham slices, cheese, croissants, pastries, cereals, juices, coffee, milk. You can order scrambled eggs for an additional $2.00. The bed was comfortable. Plenty of water pressure and hot water for a good shower. Also has a bidet. Close to dining and shopping options. Within two miles of most major attractions. Air conditioner a bit noisy, but didn’t really bother me. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Waldorf hotel overview
Very friendly helpful staff. We just used the room as a day room after disembarking our cruise ship and waiting for our flight home. The hotel is located conveniently close to Florida street and had a safe to store our valuables including our passports.

I can't believe it is 3.5 stars. And these pictures do not match with what I saw there. And please, clean the air conditioners filters! It was disgusting.

Very nice and easy stay right in the middle of everything in Buenos Aires, the room was fairly small but clean and comfortable.

Hotel good price and location
Hotel is a bit old, but offers a good quality of service and breakfast. The location is awesome, the room size is fine too. I recommend this hotel going to Buenos Aires.

TOO OLD
I chose the hotel for its proximity to the place where I had to do business during the trip. However, the room is not what appears on the pictures at the hotels.com site - definitely they were photo-shopped.

inter net keep dropping and was very slow. bed pillows are very uncomfortable, in general the hotel is rather shabby and does not deserve the rating is has. the Staff does a great job trying to make you in the experience. the room was very clean and the desk staff was kind and friendly.

The smallest room I've ever seen.
Great location, close to Puerto Madero and a variety of transportation services. The hotel is extremely old, has not been renovated in centuries, the room was the smallest I've ever stayed on. The bathroom was a joke and the shower I can't even describe with words. Terribly dissapointing for the price.

Book at your own Risk
I have to say I had the worst experience with this hotel in Sept. 2015. After a long day I arrived at the hotel just to get the room I booked through hotels.com. They refused to let me use the wifi to pull up my booking. Thanksful t-mobile was not charging me for data in Argentina and so I sat on the streets waiting for my booking to upload. Finally I got in my room and it looked nothing like the photos. The room was tiny, dirty, and smelly. I went down stairs and asked them to cancel my reservation, they offered me another room. I told them no I do not want a room please cancel my reservation. Then the told me they could not cancel it. Figuring that Hotels.com would refund my money I said fine and left. They told hotels.com that they are refusing me a refund even though they know that I did not stay at the hotel. Be wary travels. Book here at your own risk.

Waldorf Hotel - Buenos Aires
Stayed in Waldorf hotel in transit from Montevideo ferry to an early am flight to Ushuaia. The location is very convenient (only a few blocks) from the ferry, and also close to AEP airport (10 mins taxi ride). The hotel is very clean and the staff was extremely helpful. The building itself is old and the rooms are very small, but perfectly served the purpose for a good sleep while in transit in BA.

OK, not great.
We needed a cheap hotel in the center of the city for two nights and this was fine, although we were not very impressed. The room was small and not well equipped, the breakfast was very ordinary with cheap products. Staff was efficient and generally helpful. So overall it was acceptable for our needs but I would look for other options in the future.

Too much noise
We were comfortable in our stay except for the noise, I think we were just unlucky to have a room along the street, the windows in our room are not properly sealed that we can hear all sorts of noise around. Our overall experienced in our stay at Waldorf was okay so far.

Great Location
I selected this hotel based on it's location to Florida St and the Galarias Pacifico - both of which were just blocks away. The hotel itself was probably a chic hotel in it's days, but now seems to be just one-among-the-many. The rooms are small and average compared to present-day hotels. The morning breakfast however was very nice to experience.

Great Hotel for the Price
I was staying a few days in Buenos Aires before embarking on a cruise. This hotel is in the center of town, close to everything! Shopping, restaurants, parks, tour offices are within walking distance. Just don't expect a luxurious Waldorf because you will be disappointed! Rooms are small. Lobby wifi is free, but you only get 20 minutes gratis in the rooms, and room wifi is not available until 10:00 am. The furniture is old, but the mattress was firm, although pillows were too thick for my liking. I had to change my room because I shared a wall with the very loud elevators. None of these details affected my stay because I wasn't spending my time in the room anyway! The staff was extremely accommodating for all of my requests. They even held my luggage for me after I checked out because I was leaving the city for a night and had no place to store it before I returned. Leonardo, Sergio, and Mariana are top-notch!

Quick trip
Hotel is very well located near Florida pedestrian mall also near Retiro Station. Facilities are basic but clean and nice staff. I had no time to eat breakfast but I've heard it's good. If you in Bs Aires for a short stay it's a ok hotel, easy to get to

The rooms are quite small, as is the bed in a standard room. But the bed itself is comfortable and so is the bedding. If large people expect to share a room they should book a superior room.

Quiet hotel after a long flight
We arrived in Buenos Aires early in morning after an all night bumpy flight. We were exhausted. The Staff was just wonderful. We checked in early and was a blessing to be able to eat something light and go to sleep after 30 hours of no sleep. The hotel is clean and quiet and quite pleasant. I cannot recommend this hotel more if you are looking for a safe, quiet place to rest. Waldorf Hotel and Staff, you are wonderful!!!!!

Great neighborhood but not a good hotel
If you are looking for a cheap hotel in a great neighborhood, this is it. If you are looking to stay for business, not at all. You will get a bed and that is it. Don't even bother looking for an iron (the hotel does not have one nor will help you getting one), laundry service will clean your clothes but will fold it so much that you will need to go for an iron service outside the hotel. The room are clean but shows many signs of deterioration. The rooms to be remodeled. Breakfast is very basic, little to no variety and little nutrition.
