The rooms were clean. Towels and everything were dragonfly themed. Bed and pillows were comfortable. I could tell the remodel was donewith a budget crew - paneling was warped and coming off the wall & a piece of the vinyl floor was being held down with tape instead of properly repaired. Lots of paint slopped all over the property. Some leaks apparent because wall paint in halls was bubbled off of drywall. Other than construction workers staying there tracking in mud, it was clean. Breakfast was a HUGE letdown. Any review that says it was great has to be fictitious. There were some dry, week old Walmart donuts, a bowl of bananas that were almost black, waffles that tasted "tangy" like the batter was bad (threw it out), cold syrup, cerial, and bagels with cream cheese that was in a community container! Talk about potential germs! The coffee was hot but had almost zero flavor. The hotel was clean and OK but the breakfast was HORRIBLE. It was a major disappointment. We had to grab a breakfast sandwhich at McDonalds because the selections were so bad. There were also about a dozen video gambling machines in the small lobby that crowded the "breakfast" area. It just gave the place a cheap look with these in that area and people sitting around playing them. With a few changes it could be much better but for the price, go somewhere else so you can at least get a decent breakfast included that doent serve black bananas and old waffle dough. It was nasty!

Friendly staff, quiet room, clean everything. A welcome relief from travel.

The property is definitely worn and we had issues with our keys, but the pool and hot tub are nice and it's great that we can charge our car and have a ace to stay with our dogs. The rooms were more than adequate.
