I was a little sad...

Posted Jan 18, 2016
It isn't what's pictured on the website. We asked for a walk in shower with mymy medical condition and was told it wouldn't be an issue. We arrived to find we had a tub. We didnt have time to change rooms, we needed to go. The room was clean, but cheesy. Everything seemed to be cob jobed together to just make it ok. I would figure the amount of money you spend you would have something a little more luxurious as it explains in the description. Then they charge you to park here. I have never had to pay to park at a hotel I just shelled out some decent money to stay in. Broken alarm clock, holes in the cabinets, caulked up vanity top and tub. Shower pressure was poor. Toilet was not cleaned. The pool was OK...but cold. Signs all over state it was open 6am to 10pm, but it was 7am to 9pm as it states in the book in the room only. The bed was comfortable, but the heat/ac was very noisy and kept us up most of the night. Staff was not rude or unfriendly however they were very short and didn't thank us for staying. We won't stay here again for next years event. We will spend the extra few dollars for the Hyatt or Hilton.

Run down Holiday Inn with small rooms.

Posted Jan 17, 2016
Pros: Leaving it.
Cons: Demolish it start over, rooms are too small, windows doors the list is too long to be fixed.
Location: Hockey arena, nothing else around Hyatt is same distance really.
Annoying fan you can't turn off in every room. Small outdated rooms with cracked mirrors, missing tiles, bleached pillow cases that reek of bleach. 4 ft high shower nozzle that dribbles some water on your chest. Tremendous Traffic noise on one side of the building, single pane windows vibrate and let in every sound. Talking on the sidewalk audible on 9th floor! AC does not make a difference just noise. Food in Buffet poor quality, only two servers for 75 people. Desk clerks very good. Rooms smell of cigarette smoke strange since hotel is non smoking. Room doors let in noise from hall can hear anyone walking by. Deluxe room identical to the regular room. Spend the extra money go to the Hyatt.

Comfortable Spot for NYE

Posted Jan 6, 2016
This is the second time we stayed at the Adams Mark for New Years Eve. Last year the hotel disappointed - room shabby, motel-level amenities, uncomfortable temperature. Tried it again because of its walking distance location close by our friends' New Years Eve party. This time our room was well-appointed, clean and comfortable. No regrets, willing to recommend it now.

Great location

Posted Jan 6, 2016
Pros: Convenient location, clean and comfortable.
Cons: Need to staff the front desk properly.
Location: First Niagara Centre, Down Town Buffalo
Check in was slow as only one person was on the desk. However, they did not charge us for parking because of the wait so that was fair. Walking distance to the First Niagara Centre which works well. The room was clean and comfortable. We will stay there again.

Our Buffalo fave

Posted Jan 5, 2016
Pros: location, staff, atmosphere,safety
Cons: It is sometimes a little pricey-we didnt like the hold on my card as I paid cash for parking. The parking lot was quite icy and we slid several times.
Location: First Niagara, Club 716, Ralph Wilson Stadium...
I have been coming to Adams Mark for years. I now bring my boyfriend and we love it. The staff knows us and chats with us. I have not had poor service or problems with the rooms. It is usually quite comfortable.

Enjoyed my extended stay at Adam's Mark

Posted Jan 2, 2016
Pros: Very comfortable bed and room, awesome fitness center, very convenient to downtown.
Cons: Just cosmetic fixes - fresh paint, updated decor in the main areas.
Location: If you have business at any government buildings in the downtown area, this hotel is ideally located and within very easy walking distance.
I stayed at the Adam's Mark the last two weeks in October, 2015. Overall my experience at this hotel was very good. I chose it because of the location; I was in Buffalo on business and wanted to be within close and easy walking distance of a number of government buildings. It was perfect in that regard. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed, which is key for me in a hotel. I wish the bathroom had been a tad bigger, but otherwise the room was really quite good and had all the great extras - fridge, microwave, blow dryer, coffee maker, etc. I was here for a full two weeks and I was really very pleased with the level of comfort. They also have coin laundry services available, which really came in handy. Staff was friendly and quite helpful. Food at the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. Fitness room rocks. The only real downside of this hotel is that it's in need of cosmetic improvements and small fixes. Hallways could use fresh paint, some of the ice machines were in disrepair, etc. I have to say though that I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, mainly because the room itself was very clean, comfortable, and up to date.
