smokey smells and thin walls

The room smelled of smoke and the walls were very thin. I could hear other people's conversations and or their tv. Not the cleanest hotel either.

Not to shabby

Pros: The staff was nice - the rooms were a decent size (family of 4) - close to everything we needed.
Location: Location was very good - were in a hockey tournament so the arena was a good central location.
We had to sign a no-smoking clause, however when we got our room it wreaked of smoke - horrible like a late night at a bar. We had arrived late (with children) so we weren't in a position to do anything that night. Next morning we had to change rooms as we were sick from the smell - they were good about it. When booking we picked this hotel because it was cheap, has a pool, free parking and complimentary breakfast. When we got there it appeared that the pool was open. Next day however there were signs indicating that the pool was closed due to maintenance issues. I discussed this with the staff as we have children and booked it because of the pool. At first they would not do anything (because it was a third party booking) - but told us about Choice programs online to sign up for and they credited us the equivalent of one night stay. Overall, the hotel was a nice place to stay. We would stay there again - as long as the pool was open :) Interesting note... there is an airport right next door. I barely heard a sound from the planes... and I am a very light sleeper. I didn't even realize how close it actually was until the next day.

Ok. Front desk not the best.

First room we were in was supposed to be a queen. That was the smallest queen bed I've ever seen!!! Front desk argued with me and then rudely asked me if I wanted a king. That room was very nice and clean. Pool was closed! Elevator closed!

Near Airport

We chose this Comfort Inn because of the price and the location and because it offered free parking and a shuttle service. It was perfect for what we neeed. 6 of us slept overnight, and the next morning at 5am, we ate breakfast and were taken tothe airport. Upon return the shuttle was there to pick us up with in 5 minutes. vLiterally got our bags, walked out the door and he was there. The room was small, but clean. The hallways were clean. It was perfect for what wee needed.

Hot tub and pool closed!

I booked this hotel for the hot tub as I have a bad back. When we checked in we found out the pool and hot tub are closed till the end of January. The unfriendly girl at check in said there was no warning because I booked thru Expedia! The comfort suites Buffalo website said nothing either. I would not have booked comfort suites if I would have known! Other than this issue the hotel was very good and clean.

Nice clean and comfortable but just too noisy.

The hotel room was beautiful and spacious. The staff members were friendly. I was trying to sleep and kids were running up and down the hallway.
