Buffalo Airport DisasterPosted Sep 14, 2015
Location: Don't know as we were just going to the airport. But there were lots of places to eat close by.
My daughter and I booked in to the Econolodge close to Buffalo airport while waiting for a flight the following morning so we didn't want to spend too much. But we never expected this hotel to be so drab and uncared for. There was a stale smell when entering and the foyer carpets were dirty and worn. The staff were pleasant and helpful. While going up the stairs (no elevator), we noticed the stair carpets were coming away from the stairs to reveal a previous carpet underneath. The room was very basic. Bathroom was awful....previous guests hair was all over the back of the toilet, bathtub had no enamel left and was dirty, the soap dish in the bathtub was filthy and toilet only flushed if you jiggled the handle just right. Our phone had no ringer so they brought a new one which had no ringer also. Obviously something wasn't connected properly but it was never resolved. When we moved the nightstand to plug in the lamp and phone, there was dust and dirt showing they never moved it to clean. The bed sheets were clean and fresh which was my main concern. We paid $90 for this room so did not expect luxury but we did expect more then this. I would NEVER book at Econolodge again.

The hotel is nice, very near the airportPosted Sep 13, 2015
Pros: The staff is very co-operative and helpful.
Cons: The upkeep of facilities like - a dry carpet, windows that would open to bring in some fresh air, bathroom needs ventilators and clean batch tubs
The hotel is nice, very near the airport and restaurants. But the carpets ewre damp and bath tub was blotchy with paint peeling out. The staff is very co-operative and helpful.

close to concertPosted Aug 20, 2015
Pros: it was close to the concert we were going to.
Cons: remodel the hotel and clean it up.
Location: plenty of shopping, restaurants and theme park near by which appealed to us.
The hotel was dirty and not clean at all. Its just a very basic room that was very dirty. It had no refrigerator or microwave. The ac hardly worked. The bed wasn't too bad the sheets were clean and the shower was hot but a very dirty room overall.

In need of remodeling. Everything outdated.Posted Aug 17, 2015
Even the lobby along with the whole hotel smelled really bad. Grout in bathroom was very very disgusting and dirty. So was pool. And continental breakfast consisted of warm toast and stale cereal. Not happy at all with overpriced nasty hotel.

Staff acted like we were a bother because we checked in. Felt like we were invading a private home.

Bathroom had dirt in the corners. It was noisy late at night. Stains on the carpet in the halls.

close to major highwayPosted Aug 11, 2015
The outer appearance of the hotel was not very well kept or welcoming. The indoor pool area was not very clean. We spent one night here and were glad to not have to be there longer. Overall, it was an OK experience, but did not feel that it was a great experience. the price was reasonable, though, given the accomodations. Very small bathroom, needs modernizing. Just OK, not good.

Pay the extra money and go elsewhere!!Posted Aug 4, 2015
There were cigarette burns on the bed and sheets, we had to put a towel in the tub on the ground to shower because it was so nasty, the door wasn't put on properly so you could see out in the hallway and the door knob was broken... When you walk into where the rooms are in this place it seriously feels like you're staying in an abandoned building with all the cobwebs and trash around
