Our room had a bad odor which triggered our daughter’s asthma both our nights with terrible attacks. At midnight night 2 I went to the desk and they upgraded our room and that one was much better. But our first room had empty shampoo and conditioner and the trash piled up a lot with them not coming around other than every other day. Also paying to park 16 dollars at day at the hotel you don’t know until you get there which kinda stinks. I’ll stay outside the city if we go back next time.

Arrive at 3:00 check in room was not ready till 530 was going to a hockey game i had injured my leg and need to rest it and did not have the chance due to not getting into my room so missed the game. Poor management. New they were sold out for the night before and the night i was staying but did not book and more staff. The cleaning people went without breaks not fair or legal. Need to do better

Thank you for your response. I am very sorry for the delay in your check in. We did have a proper staff set up for the day, however we had several call offs for illness, and a death in the family of a staff member mid shift. It became an issue that we could only maintain the best we could and try to get everyone in as quickly as we could. I can assure you that we strictly follow guidelines for breaks, and all housekeepers are required to take a break according to the laws of NYS. Thank you for your input, we use all guest comments and feedback to better ourselves. While this was a situation out of our control, we will have better back up plans for future!

Room was very nice..good size..clean. Breafast waa geeat. Unfortunately..the room smelled like smoke which was very unsatisfactory. We alerted management who advised they could not switch rooms due to being fully booked. They offered to remedy the situation by putting in an ionizer but it did not remove the smell.

I am so sorry that your stay was affected by a smoke smell you say you experienced in your room, and I am sorry we were unable to remedy this fully due to being sold out. I will speak to my housekeeping department to see what more we can do prior to a guest checking in to avoid this in the future. Thank you again!

Check in was absolute disaster. Had 3 rooms booked for a large group. 1 room was ready on time (3pm check in). 2nd room wasn’t ready until 4:30 and 3rd room 5:30.. had to wait in a large line every time to inquire about the status because only 1 person was working the desk. Which is ridiculous for a Saturday and when everyone’s check in is 3pm. Rooms were only supplied with 1 towel (I checked off 4 people staying in the room upon booking). We called 3 times to bring us more and they never brought them. I will say however, the lady working the desk was very nice and professional. She was taking lots of flack from everyone because many more were in this situation. Upper management is clearly an issue with this place if this is the standard they set for their employees and customers.

Thank you for your feedback. Saturday was a series of unfortunate events for us here. The staff did try their best to accommodate our guests. Between a death in one of our staff members close family members mid-shift, as well as several call offs for illness, it was a bad day. However, I am confident in saying this is not a common issue at this property. Unforeseen circumstances can & will occur, but we always do our best to pull together. Emily who is the girl you spoke of and was at the front desk is actually a member of upper management and was one of the people that helped hold it down. Thank you again for taking the time to send in your concerns. I do hope if you will be in the area again, you will give us another shot!

I booked a two day trip, but due to weather conditions when I checked and asked to only stay one night and cancel the second. They told me to reach out to Expedia, which I did immediately and Expedia was going to take care of this. The reason I didn’t cancel any sooner is I wanted to make sure they didn’t cancel both of my nights. now I’m being informed that I cannot get a refund for the night that I didn’t stay? This is unacceptable. I did as much as I could to give advance notice I was a Hilton member and I expected more out of this company. I believed I had a guarantee to at least up to 24 hours , first of all, I won’t recommend anyone going through Expedia and second of all. I don’t know that I would stay at another Hampton Hilton Inn in that area again the service was horrible.

Tough question. The facility is very nice and the service was excellent. However, check in was supposed to be 3:00 pm. We arrived at 4:45 to find out our room wasn’t ready. Not happy about that. I’m guessing there is a lack of personnel to operate the hotel.

I was not impressed that they failed to mention the pool is under construction and therefore not available for use! Also, the breakfast was the worst I've ever seen. They advertise several restaurants on site, we didn't see one. I will say when I asked the assistant at the desk about recommendations for food her coworker came from another office and gave us several options!

During our stay, a winter storm hit the area and a travel ban was put in place by the state of New York. When we asked the hotel staff if we could stay extend our stay based on not being able to travel, we were told they could extend our stay for one night for the price of $700! When we asked them how they can price gouge like that based on the winter storm and the travel ban they blamed it on the bills game! Absolute disregard for their customers and their safety! The rates that we had available for the night of the 14th were right in line with the rest of the city. I do not see anywhere that we were charging 700 rates though. It also can be based on if you are in a suite versus a standard room. We were actually very careful not to price gouge based on the circumstances. This is not something that Hilton, or our management company would allow to happen. I am not sure who you spoke with that quoted that rate, but if you recall, please let me know.

My only recommendation would be to have some sort of identification for the housekeeping staff as they don’t wear a uniform. So when someone in plain clothes comes a knocking it makes their legitimacy a little questionable. Very friendly snd helpful staff!

Terrible parking policy! $15 per night plus tax! They did not advise when checked in and I asked what incidentals they would charge and not a word on parking fees! Terrible surprise! I called to discuss the the person answering said it was their policy and I should have known because it is on their website! Website states parking is available No where does it state charge or $15 per night!

Upon arrival, we were given the keys to room 210, which we found out faces on to Chippewa St. We were unable to sleep at all from 9 pm to well after 3 am, due to the loud, window shaking, room vibrating noise from a night club on the corner. We then had to pack & change rooms the next day, or we would have gotten no sleep at all. Overall, it was a terrible, unpleasant stay that I feel we should be compensated for.

Typical Hotel stay but the room was clean and bed extra comfortable, extra security built into this hotel as you need your card to even use in the elevator.. Staff is ultra accommodating.. Will definitely stay there again..
