Friendly owners, great food. Power was out for awhile and they left us flashlights to use if we needed them.

Lovely old mansionPosted May 29, 2018
Old mansion. All rooms are decorated nicely, very clean, comfortable. This not a sterile motel, but more like a B&B. Breakfast was real food, cooked to order. If you can't do stairs ask for the room on the first floor. There's only one.

GreatPosted Dec 17, 2017
Cons: Not a thing.
I could not have been happier! The hotel was cozy and inviting, the room was gorgeous, and the owners could not have been nicer.
Good Company at BreakfastPosted Sep 26, 2017 on Hotels
The room and staff were lovely. The breakfast and company of the other guests was great. I especially liked hearing the stories about the history of Buffalo as told by a guest who'd grown up nearby, moved away, and was back for his high school reunion. What a treat!

More then just a hotel room. This property is unique in its history and the historical figures who stayed there. It is a treasured part of Wyoming's past.

Staying at this hotel is like running time backwards, spinning memories and giving them live. We love it.
Great stayPosted Aug 8, 2017 on Hotels
Stayed for 2 nights. The room was great. Very comfortable. Breakfast was a delight. Everything was home made and of a very high standard. We would definitely stay here again.

Our host was very gracious and informative with local area. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was extremely comfortable, in fact the best night sleep in over 7 weeks while touring the US. Breakfast enjoyable including other guests. Will return if in the area again.

Beautiful, restful placePosted Aug 2, 2017
Pros: Beautiful antique furnishings; attention to detail in providing needed things.
Cons: More counter space in bathroom (there is practically none).
Location: If you know Craig Johnson's books and TV series about "Longmire," this is the place.
This beautiful property was a joy to stay in. The lady owner was very helpful and friendly, and provided a welcome upgrade to a ground-floor room. The breakfast was delightful and served in elegant style. The location was close to the street on the route to Sturgis, so the town was full of bikers, but there was no noise problem.
