Don't Do Ground FloorPosted Mar 22, 2015
Pros: Owner was nice. Helpful.
For a fishing trip, it was pretty typical of the area. The main issue was that I could hear people walking in room above me (creaky floor/ceiling) and could even hear their voices when I was trying to sleep.

Close to LakePosted Jul 21, 2013
Pros: I liked that our room was imitation wood floors, hate carpet in motels/hotels just doesn't feel clean and sanitary.
Cons: Clean around pool area. Update furniture.
Location: Good location near the lake. Excellent cafe across the street.
Needs major updating!! Blinds fell on my head twice. Had a smell to the room. Furniture, what there was of it, was outdated. Pool area was horrible!!! Waist high weeds growing up inside the pool area!! Dirty pool water, lots of hair floating in it, due to a poor filter system! Just overall not a good experience!! :(

Great quiet inn for a couple or familyPosted Jun 24, 2012
Pros: The front desk, Quietness & Wildlife
Location: There's not much to do here, but there are places really close to here that you can go.
We stayed at the Brass Door Inn & Suites for 4 days and it was very nice. The front desk was very, very nice & helpful. The room was clean, there are clean towels which you can change out everyday if you like, the bathroom was alittle small, but it worked for us. It was quiet which is what we wanted so we could relax. We sat on the balcony at night & in the morning and enjoyed the wildlife that came up. The boat dock is just right behind the Inn & on the other side of the trees. The only thing about the place is that the bed was alittle sqeaky, but comfortable. Over all the place is great. There is a restaurant called Connies that serves the best breakfast & its right across the street from the Brass Door. There's another little place right up the road called The Village it was pretty decent & close.
