The rooms look very tired. In need of a remodel. I come here because I love the location. The smoke free section is also a plus. I would gladly raise the stars rating if they address some of the dated issues in the rooms.

Hello, Thank you for sharing your comments regarding your recent visit to Harrah’s Laughlin. We are very sorry to learn that you didn’t enjoy our stay. Please understand that we do have a Daily Resort Fee which includes WIFI for two devices, free local phone calls and access to our gym, Club Philippe. We felt a Resort Fee was appropriate as it allows us to cover the cost of the service. I’m delighted to mention that we guarantee room types, such as river view, as long as the room is available at the time reservations are secured. We hope that you will consider staying and playing again in the future.

Not good

Posted Jan 13, 2017
Pros: bed was comfortable
At check in the guy didn't explain to us how to set up the WiFi, on their WiFi pop up it explains that the cost is 14.95 a day which is ridiculous..At check out we were charged a "resort fee" and WiFi was included in that fee. We received two free breakfast buffets, but it was closed so we were given free breakfasts at their beach diner and it was disgusting food, the food came out minutes of ordering but my eggs were not hot, and my hash-browns were burnt. I love Laughlin but will definitely not be staying at Harrahs again.

Smelly room

Posted Jan 9, 2017
We hadn't been to Laughlin in years, but decided spur of the moment to go for a few days. The room rate seemed great! And we've always liked Harrah's, so I booked us a room. When we arrived, I could not believe how mildewy and musty the room smelled! I also didn't know how run down this place is! And the place is kind of isolated, far from the other casinos. The weather was cold & windy, so that made walking to other places nearly impossible.

Hello, Thank you for sharing your comments regarding your recent visit to Harrah’s Laughlin. We are very sorry to learn you didn’t enjoy your stay. Please be assured that your comfort is extremely important to us and if you should ever experience a problem with your room or Front Desk services, please don’t hesitate to contact a Guest Service Manager at the Front Desk and they would be pleased to resolve any issue with the room. We have a regular maintenance program and we are doing everything we can to keep the property up-to-date. I’m also pleased to mention that we are updating our rooms with fresh paint, new carpeting and mattresses where needed, some new furnishings and some other projects to bring our property up-to-date and will continue our efforts through 2017. Our property is secluded, however many of our loyal guests find it refreshing to be set away from the other properties along the river. We hope that you will give us another opportunity in the future to create a better experience.

Harrah in Laughlin

It was a non-smoking room and it definitely was that also non-smoking casino area which was nice. The bed was comfy but it was cold all night kept turning the heater up with no affect. Clean room nice view.

Disappointed

Posted Jan 7, 2017
Pros: The room price, but the woman ahead of us in line had gotten it at an even lower price.
Cons: See above comments. It would have been helpful to know that I should pack food/snacks since nothing was going to open as we had expected.
Location: It has been several years since we've been to this area and it appears to be declining all around. Low river levels make the landscape sad as well.
Who knew that there would be a lack of restaurants open during our stay? And, because this hotel is quite far from the others, you had to drive to get meals unless you were open to eating a cinnamon roll or something from Starbucks as a replacement. Because of a low about of people, the casino smoke was much improved but other than that, I could not recommend this hotel. The rooms need to be redone- old bathrooms with stained grout, etc. Staff was very nice and apologetic but nothing they could do. A sign on the mexican restaurant said Open on Thursday when we arrived on Wednesday, but come Thursday, it said Open on Friday. The only nice restaurant, the steak house, was booked until after 7:30 PM which is way to late to eat a heavy meal for us. The Buffet didn't open until 4 pm and the Smashburger didn't open until Thursday afternoon. Really disappointing on many levels.

Hello, Thank you for sharing your comments regarding your recent visit to Harrah’s Laughlin. We are delighted to learn that you found our staff to be friendly, however we are very sorry to learn you didn’t enjoy your stay. I’m very sorry to learn of your disappointment with our reduced hours of our restaurants, which has been necessary due to our recent low occupancy levels recently. Our property is secluded, however many of our loyal guests find it refreshing to be set away from the other properties along the river. Please understand that like all hotels, room rates fluctuate based upon demand, however I’m very sorry to learn of the condition of your room. We are updating our rooms with fresh paint, new carpeting and mattresses where needed, some new furnishings and some other projects to bring our property up-to-date and will continue our efforts through 2017. Please understand that the river level is dependent on the water flow from the dam, which is released upon the demand for water. Since the demand for water in the winter months is low, the release of water from the dam is lowered which affects the river level. During the summer months, more water is released and the water level is high. We hope that you will give us another chance to be of service in the future so that we may create a better experience.
