Excellent LocationPosted Aug 12, 2015
Cons: Better chairs in the bedrooms
Location: Excellent location by the Harbour
Our room was overlooking the Harbour which was lovely, we hadn't paid any extra for this so was a lovely surprise. The only thing I would liked in the room was two comfortable chairs. The ones that were there were small with a very low back which didn't fit with the comfort of everything else. It was a quaint hotel and the owners/staff were all very helpful. The food was also excellent.

Too expensive for what it isPosted Jul 14, 2015
Room and bathroom are big but both lucks facilities, the shower enclosure is too small even for a thin person, the water takes forever to heat up and in the room, the bed is old and uncomfortable On top of that, the TV turns itself on and the channels are very limited Not to mention the stairs to go to the rooms, very steep-even for a fit person-don't know how a person with a baby could go up and down without worrying to fall I was not at all impressed with the service either, not at check in or check out Will not recommend this place

Fantastic stay in Bunbeg!Posted Jul 7, 2015 on Hotels
Great place to stay! Right on Bunbeg Harbor with the smell of the ocean in the air. Close to great eating and a super beach. Comfortable beds. And, a fabulous breakfast!! Our hostess was very friendly and made us feel at home.

Lovely service from the owner and the view from the room was fantastic. Wasn't an outstanding hotel but it certainly had everything we needed.

Disappointing B&BPosted Jun 13, 2015 on Hotels
Hotel is run down. We arrived at dinner time and had read that the hotel served dinner. We arrived and the owner was not serving dinner because it was a slow time but there are few restaurants in town and the last thing we wanted to do was get back in our car and drive again. Breakfast the next morning was minimal and disappointing.

A good choice with a beautiful locationPosted May 24, 2015 on Hotels
We booked here on a driving vacation in the off season. The restaurant was closed, but we found some good pub food in the next town. The breakfast at the hotel was very good, and the staff is nice. We had some trouble with the stairs, and the plumbing was a little strained, but the view and the location made up for all that.

Must go backPosted Apr 12, 2015 on Hotels
Excellent - very homely, owners couldn't do enough - would go back no problem , maybe just spend a little on the public areas. Otherwise perfect.
