This hotel was exactly as expected. A small space to sleep, shared bathrooms, Internet. The smoke smell was a bummer, but expected in this environment.
Although the room was tight but with cleaned and comfortable bed with air purifier/humidifier plus very helpful staff makes our 10 days stay very pleasant. Walking distance to the park, train station, museum and shopping mall.

I was surprised that the three-star hotel can be as comfortable as the five-star hotel in terms of the clean and silent room and friendly staff. The hotel atmosphere invites you to explore the authentic Japanese culture. Not only cozy stay but also can learn their culture. Hope someday come to this ...

Just an exquisite hotel! Loved everything about it; the staff, the room, the beautiful gardens, the lovely breakfast, the location.

I stayed 3 nights in a single room with breakfast included. Located in a quiet area very close to Tokyo University, this hotel seems to be the best choice if you have meetings or conferences at Tokyo University. Otherwise, however, I would not highly recommend this hotel. You can find a lot of far ...

The location was ideal for those who want to be near the college or the akihabara area and close to a metro station. Walls are a little thin so you can hear the noise from other room. Overall I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and was pretty pleased with the service and the staff was very helpful.

I just returned from a week in Tokyo from March 13th through the 20th. The staff was excellent. I would say about 20% of them spoke a degree of English. All of them were quite friendly. The cleaning staff were especially kind, and helped me when I walked out without my keycard after suffering jetlag. ...

Not as clean as other reviews said. Also my room was very small and had a hard time opening my suitcase. Since I had high expectation from good reviews, I was very disappointed

I only stayed for one night (during an extended layover in Tokyo), and while the location is a bit out of the way from the major tourist attractions, the subway line and bus stop is fairly close by. Friendly English-speaking staff.

It is quite convenient to move around the city of Tokyo as it is close to the subway station which has a good connection to several different lines. The members of the hotel are kind and helpful. The room is clean and well maintained, and also quiet.
