We are on the Camino de Santiago and had several hard days on the road and wanted to treat ourselves by staying at your hotel. The room was very nice and the pool was relaxing and we had a good nights sleep.
The next morning we wanted to have breakfast before heading back out on the trail. We went to the hotel restaurant and asked the hostess the price for breakfast. We thought the price was too high so we did not stay. This apparently angered the hostess as she snapped a rude comment at us as we turned to leave.
We left and went across the lobby to the bar area where we had some fruit from our backpacks. There was free coffee service offered to all customers, so we made a cup while we sat and ate our fruit. The hostess from the restaurant came flying across the lobby yelling at us that the coffee service was closed. She began pulling the coffee, creamers and other supplies and throwing them in a locked cabinet. She was mumbling to herself and was very angry and rude. While the hotel and the ammenities were nice, we will never stay here again with this level of customer service. You lost a customer over a cup of coffee. Congratulations.
