Nice and close to the beach. The hotel was promising, as it had a nice laidback vibe. Unfortunately our room was in dire need of refurbishment and good clean. The bathrooms smelled quite musty and I had to do a deep clean of the shower areas when we got there as it wasn’t as clean as I would have liked (the toilets were fine though). Also, for some reason the aircon in our room stopped working at night (it was blowing warm air and was quite uncomfortable for the two nights we were there). Very strange considering the other aircons were great and it worked fine during the day. We did end up enjoying our stay, just those few things that could have made it a lot better. The rooftop area was very pretty and it’s nice and close to the beach. The kitchen area had everything we needed (dishwasher, fridge etc in good working order) and it had three aircons which is great for a 2bdrm apartment.

The ULTIQA was great place to stay with a family. Usually the photos of properties show the absolute best parts of the property, at ULTIQA the premises was better than the photos! Check in staff were excellent and very friendly, the apartment had everything (and more) than we wanted, all across from the beach and a walk to so many excellent dining options.

A very comfortable holiday destination. Great views, easy access, practical amenities. Parks across the road, ocean across the road, great pools and bbq areas on premises. We had a thoroughly relaxing holiday.

After hours check in was easy. Very well presented unit (2 bdrm ocean view). Nice pool area which is easily accessible. Across the road from patrolled beach. Overall it is a nice, clean, family friendly place. We will defnitely stay again.

Nice place to stay - BUT. . .
Accommodation was good, clean and even though we had paid for a superior one bedroom unlike the photos for the room(on the platform)which showed a frontal view of the ocean we were given a side view which was a little disappointing. We were unable to access the balcony from our bedroom due to the large air conditioner unit nor have the bedroom door open if the air con was going in the lounge room from the noise and heat it radiates. The bedroom is a good size with ample storage and the wifi is also great. The modem was on the bedside table. USB ports in the bedroom are located nowhere near your bed as is spare PowerPoints for charging everything - luckily we always bring a piggyback extension cord with us lol The bathroom is a whole other story- built on an angle, you can’t swing a car in it(unless it’s a miniature one). There is a Jack and Jill entrance to the bathroom with a huge step from the kitchen side (that my wife tripped up and injured herself) and another biggish step from the bedroom side. . . Neither of these are marked with a warning!!! The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need and the furniture was comfortable. The beach is just across the road. Best food and shopping is a 15min walk to South Burleigh as there is nothing onsite. Maccas is just around the corner!! Disability parking is limited especially in the underground car park where you are allocated a parking space per your unit- and it’s a tight fit.

Re your accommodation, you were allocated a unit in the category you booked - we have both front and side facing ocean view apartments, and it does say on all websites that the photos are indicative only. Regarding the bathroom, no, a car would not fit in there (we think you mean cat!! lol). If a larger bathroom is required, 2 x bedroom apartments are probably a better option for you, as the bathrooms are larger. We have allocated car parking as we are a mix of permanent residents and holiday lettings. We look forward to you visiting again soon.

The grounds were beautifully kept, the pool stunning and the heated pool was great too. Room was well equipped and the lounge was comfy. The pillows were a bit too hard and probably need to be upgraded. I enjoyed the nespresso machine for easy coffee before walking to many cool and fun coffee shops with great beans. Just a 10 min stroll and you’re in the nightlife in the Main Street. Pool towels were awesome and huge, so comfy.

Resort is just lovely , great outdoor pool area and close to everything. Beach just across the road and good walk to shops in James Street. My particular unit was rather dark but was ground floor so not totally unexpected and not a problem for a 3 night stay. Both staff and fellow guests very friendly

As you stayed in a Ground Floor unit surrounded by gardens, occasionally a crawling insect might enter, but they usually die due to our rigorous pest control. We would, however, like to say that the disgusting mess you left in the apartment - rubbish everywhere and piles of dirty dishes (the mess being so bad you were charged an extra cleaning fee after departure) probably did not help the situation.

On this trip i thought the internet was terrible when trying to watch say youtube or netflix on tv of a night. The issue seemed 24/7 since we tried it at various times of the day. Everything else was good.

Beautiful spot on the Esplanade. Nice little unit with a great view. Bed was comfy. The sofa was very small and uncomfortable. But we would definitely stay again.

I’ve stayed here a few times and it has always been excellent. This time however I was travelling for the first time with a baby. The staff and management, especially Nicole, Leanne, Karin and Peter couldn’t have been more helpful. They arranged a room change for me, cot and high chair. Thanks to them, the stay was fantastic and stress free.

Property was spacious and had great views. Located very close to public transport and an easy walk along the waterfront to the local surf club for a meal. Unfortunately the air con in the main bedroom was not working properly when we arrived so the first night we were without it. Someone came the second day to fix it though. Also no bath mats left in room so had to use Beach towels instead. Otherwise everything was great.

Fantastic room and position overlooking the pool and the ocean. Great large Television with Foxtel and the main bed was extremely comfortable. Sadly, there were cockroaches on the bench. Would definitely stay at this property again, great location!
