There is no dining facility so there was no way of using the VIP benefit which was $31 off food and beverage when we made the booking, instead we were handed over a cheap $5 bottle of wine. V disappointing

WE had an amazing family holiday. the apartment was clean and the underground parking was such a piece of mind. not a far walk to cavil Ave and the tram stop right under the building was amazing. The only downside was the net kept dropping out but otherwise it was an amazing stay

Room was poorly designed; 3 quarter table attatched to the bar counter with steel chairs? Very dusty. Missing PowerPoints in one of the bedrooms. Faulty or old furniture. Odours outside the room. Sauna, pool and location were a positive.

Decent value for money. Late night check in during cyclonic conditions was very easy and quick. Room very well equipped. But patio door lock was broken and room was clearly old and worn.

**Beware when booking** I did not get what we paid for. I booked a room with 1 x queen and 2 x twin beds for 5 of us and got 1 x queen and 2 x single beds plus a fold out single bed. When queried, I was told that the ad is misleading and that configuration would go against fire regulation. Also never received my bonus food and beverage voucher - queried upon departure and was told "maybe we should have left it in your room." Also, no 'room service' so ran out of coffee and only had 1 dishwasher tablet for a 4 day stay. We were out and about all day so barely saw reception open. Some maintenance on the property wouldn't go astray either.

Our stay was nice, the pool is great, the apartments are a bit worn out with loose fixtures in almost evry room, the shower head was just habging out of the wall, not secured at all. We still had a nice time.

Walkable distance to cavil or the tram stops right out front of building.as most rentals there is wear and tear in the room but overall value for money its just a place to sleep end of the day. Traveled with 2 adults and 3 kids a trundle bed was provided for 3rd child which was nice(have had blow up beds at prievious hotels) Will stay again

I would not recommend Palazzo Colonnades. The check-in process was fine, and the staff working on reception were always friendly, though the state of the apartment and common areas were horrible. Our bathroom had an incredibly unpleasant sewer smell for the entire stay, when bringing this to receptions attention, she mentioned she could put some 'draino' down the drain, though this did not help. The kitchen pots and pans were incredibly old, peeling, scratched and unsafe to use. The mattresses were not able to be slept on. They were beyond uncomfortable. We had to purchase mattress toppers on our holiday to be able to sleep. And small things, such as the vacuum supplied with the room did not work (at all) due to it being full of other people's hair, food scraps and rubbish, we were provided no plug for the sinks and the exhaust fan was useless in the bathroom. Along with all of this, the overall state of the room was terrible. The carpets were stained and filthy in each room. The furniture in the lounge room all had severe water damage at the legs, showing swelling and flakes falling off. The walls were all covered in dirt marks and scuffs. When mentioning the common areas, the pool was dirty and the pool ladder was unstable, the spa jets were unable to be used & the gym can't exactly be called a gym. We will not be coming back and I wouldn't recommend anybody to stay here either. Note: the pots/ pans, vacuum and sink were all provided/ replaced.

Property was OK for the price. Rooms are dated, and the shower in the bathroom had moldy black grout. Needs a too deep clean. Mattress was thin and springy, but you get what you pay for. Suitable for short stay or if on a budget

Complimentary snacks and alcohol on arrival was cool, large space in all rooms as well as 2 toilets. Everything kitchen-wise supplied. Excellent location. Hyundai tv was garbage and internet was worse, only used before bedtime but still. The tram was very noisy, not the hotels fault really I know but maybe thicker glass is needed, single beds are way too short.

Took awhile to get thru to the after hrs service desk. Big room. Hasnt been dusted in a very long time. Fair enough to not have daily house keeping..... but being asked to clran everything after your self when your paying over $120 a day is a bit rude.

Very convenient to shops and attractions in Surfers Paradise. Light rail at door to get you to trains for Brisbane and broadbeach for Pacific Fair shopping centre. Lovely pool and Spa to relax after a big day

Three days of Medical Support.
This was a 3 day stay for support of family needing medical treatment. Property was reasonably well positioned, adjacent to tram stop. Bedrooms were small - Bedroom 1 was the size of a usual Bedroom 2; and Bedroom 2 could barely fit two single beds. Property is very 'tired'. its way past time for a full renovation, and salt air corrosion is showing on fixtures. Cleaning had some issues - a good history of breadcrumbs seen on the shelf under the toaster. Conversely, Staff were great. Really helpful.

The property was great but there was a lot of stress to keep the room spotless as an extra charge would be placed. The bedding basic . No cover for doona. But great location for transport , not far from surfers or the beach.
