Hot tub was closed, our room wasn't ready so instead of a king room we had to get doubles, air conditioner was extremely loud kicking on, moldy smell downstairs entry way, overall just wasn't very clean looking.

Our room smelled like mold. It had a musty smell as soon as you walked in the door. The air conditioner kept the room damp the entire time. We also did not have a refrigerator or microwave in the room which is typical and expected for most Hampton Inns. We asked to change rooms but was told they were totally booked up. Observed other guests complaining about the lack of an expected refrigerator and microwave even after specifically requesting it for their room too. Only positive was the breakfast each morning. The people in charge of that did a great job. Also, nice resturants close by. I would not recommend the Hampton Inn at Burleson, Texas

MOST DISAPPOINTING STAY

I have stayed at Hampton Inns in four states for many years. This was BY FAR the worst Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at. ROOM: I made a reservation a month in advance requesting 2 queen beds. Upon arrival I was told all the queen bed rooms have been taken by a baseball team. I was given a King and a Sofa bed; the sofa bed was UNFIT for humans, mattress too thin, you could feel the steel supports underneath. Both days I found BUGS in the bathroom which had one light out. The TV was unacceptable; when turned on it was bright but minutes later it dimmed considerably. I was told by desk staff there was NO WAY to fix this problem. NOISE: The baseball team played football games and were VERY LOUD at 11PM in the parking lot, I complained to the front desk BUT nothing was done about it. WAKE-UP CALL: I left a wake-up call for 3AM with the front desk, they NEVER called. I will NEVER stay here again and will probably never stay at another Hampton Inn if this is what I should expect in the future.

Disappointed

The door to our room did not lock. We did not discover this until leaving for breakfast. Also the door to the bathroom did not close unless forced shut. We usually reserve rooms at Hampton Inn and normally are satisfied, but this one seemed under par. Only one employee at the breakfast bar and she couldn't keep up -- no entrée (French toast sticks), no milk, no orange juice, etc.

It has to be one of the best hotels we have stayed at. Everyone was friendly helpful and we got great service and room was excellent. Ty for being a great place. We definiately will be back.

Not the best, but not terrible

I have stayed at Hampton's before and always had enjoyable visits. However, I was slightly disappointed with this Hampton. I traveled with my 2-year old son. The room had no fridge and no bathtub. I needed both of those for my son during our 5-day stay. Breakfast was quite disappointing. However, I was told that the hotel is getting lots of updates and remodeling done this year so I would hope it to improve. The bed was extremely comfortable. Room is spacious. Overall, for a trip where I was not at the hotel much but for breakfast and sleeping, it was worth the money. I would stay here again.
