Noisy cabin next to highway

We were en route to the property when we received a call from the front desk, there was some confusion as to whether we were already there or not, finally they believed me that I was not there and they told me that my check in "welcome" package would be at the security gate when I arrived. At the security gate there was no one there, but a hand written sign hanging in the window saying to call a number, called the number, waited 5 minutes for the security guard to show up, waited another 5 minutes watching him shuffle through papers until he came up with a clipboard and told me that the two rooms had a balance due. I told him that the rooms had been paid for through Expedia and that there wasn't any money due, at which time he asked me to prove that, I gave him the transaction confirmation number. Back into the booth for another 5 or more minutes of shuffling through papers when he came back and said that he could let us into the room but didn't have room keys for us and that if we left the room after midnight we would be locked out because no one would be on property to let us back in.
The rooms were very nice, roomy, comfortable and noisy. They are buildings with 2 adjoining rooms, there is NOTHING kept secret between rooms, you hear everything from your neighbors. They are also located less than 500 feet from the highway and it is obvious. Don't believe the "free wi-fi" both rooms had their own routers, neither one was able to connect to the internet the entire stay.
