Convenient hotel if you have a car

Posted Aug 25, 2015
Likes: Very convenient off I-95 and 15 min from Boston. Hotel has good facilities and restaurant. Plenty of parking. Rooms are quiet. Dislikes: Maid service is not good, dusty rooms, not enough towels for the number of people in the room. Double room has twin beds (small) as opposed to the normally queen beds. Front desk people (especially during evenings) could be a little more welcoming and courteous.

Comfortable pretty hotel

Very close to restaurant, around 20 mins away from Boston downtown. Very clean. But the front desk service is not good, I need some hot water but they ask me to make it with coffee maker.

Pleasant stay in Boston

Posted Aug 24, 2015
We've stayed at this hotel before and really liked it. It's just outside the Boston 'beltway', which makes it a lot more reasonable than staying in downtown. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. The kids really enjoyed the pools they have also.

Decent Hotel; didn't mind the drive

Posted Aug 17, 2015
We chose this hotel on a recent trip Massachusettes. Most of the things we had planned took place in Boston (a brewery tour and Red Sox game) and also a trip to the Patriots game in Foxboro. We knew ahead of booking it would be a drive to everything by we did not mind that. If you are looking for something central, this is not it. The shuttle only takes you a mile in either direction, and that won't get you to Boston. The lobby is set up very nicely and connected to the hotel restaurant, Chopps. We ate there the first night and happened to be there during their transition time. We were still able to order from a smaller menu option and everything was delicious. As expected it is a hotel restaurant so it was pretty expensive for what you got. The room itself was decent. My only complaints here are: the huge stain (that could have come up) on the carpet and the fact that the AC was horrible. We set the thermostat to 40, yes 40, and were still sweating at night. So beware in the summer time. Lastly, not so sure I can count this as a negative as it isn't the hotels fault but we had to leave a day early due to an emergency. We still had to pay for the day/night we would not be staying despite properly checking out. I do have to assume that's because we held the room from someone else. Makes sense but when in a rush to make a 5 hour drive back home the loss of money sure does suck.

Good Value, with a few Negatives

Posted Aug 12, 2015
Pros: Pools, Linens, Shower. Hotel is well designed and a popular wedding venue, but there are no noise issues.
Cons: Bathroom cleaning. Welcome at Reception. Housekeeping.
Location: Located just off a highway, next to a hospital and business park. It is possible to walk/jog nearby. Plenty of good restaurants in the nearby mall.
We needed a hotel close to Boston for the last two days of a long trip across MI, MA and ME. Booked three rooms for two nights at a very reasonable rate, and chose the hotel because it was close to a mall and had good pool facilities. After two weeks of great service in two states, we found check-in disappointingly dour. The member of staff barely looked at us, and gave minimal information. One of our rooms was not ready when we checked in at 4pm, so we went downstairs to our floor and walked by a half-eaten plate of salad that had been left on the carpet outside our bedroom. We camped out together in our room and called down after half an hour as instructed. Room still not ready. We went down to reception half an hour later, noting the plate of salad still on the floor and mentioned it at Reception. The room was still not ready. We were advised that the key to the third room would be brought to us when the room was cleaned. A member of staff walked past the plate of salad on the floor to deliver the key at about 5pm (two hours after check-in time) and hung around for a tip, which we felt was inappropriate given the situation. We went out for dinner and came back at about 8pm. The plate of salad was still on the floor in the hallway, so I picked it up and took it down to Reception. I explained that I was embarrassed that my family was still walking past the plate 4 hrs after arrival, and received a very brief apology. We had two double beds in our room, for occupancy by 3 peo

Ok, but not a full fledged Marriott

Convenient location. Outside Boston, near Lexington. Small bathroom and beds, loud music, lovely lobby, friendly professional staff. Great pool and hot tub.
