Pros: it was easy to find. People were very friendly. just sad to miss the eagle day festivities.
Cons: the advertisement said there was a bar on site. Need to take that off the internet as there wasn't one
Location: came to see the barges go through the locks, but the traffic on the river was closed. would be nice to came back when they are moving.
very quick and easy check in. good recommendations for dining.

Not as nice as it used to be

We requested a rollaway bed at online registration. When we checked in we were told our room size didn't allow a rollaway per fire code. Had I known at registration, I would not have chosen this hotel. My son had to sleep on the floor. Front desk said we could always upgrade to a larger room at our expense. Not acceptable. Also tried to call front desk and housekeeping from room but received busy signal for quite awhile. Went down to talk to clerk in person--no one in the area. Lots of little maintenance issues. Not what I expected from a Hilton brand. We've stayed here in the past but we're disappointed this time.

Inviting for Christmas

Pros: The Christmas touches, the warm pool and the comfortable beds.
Location: Hy-Vee is right next door if you forgot anything. Taco Bell, Sonic, Pizza Hut, The Hawkeye restaurant and Wal-Mart are all nearby as well.
When we arrived there were Christmas cookies at the front desk and they had our hotel room keys ready to go as soon as we arrived. When we got to our room, there was a mini Christmas tree lit up and a Christmas card waiting for us. The kids went down to the front desk to grab Christmas cookies and hot chocolate. The pool was by far the warmest we have ever swam in. The hot tub was really hot, but it was nice as parents to want to swim with the kids in a warm pool! We usually are so cold that we skip the pool. The beds were very comfortable as well.

Disappointed

Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Dont use as much carpet fresh in room
Location: Great location
Room smelled strongly of carpet fresh.There was a long blonde hair in the microwave. Not on,but in it. I could have booked the room on motel website and been better off.

By three in the afternoon, our room had not been cleaned, but once reported to the front desk, it was soon taken care of.

Disappointed

Hot tub was broke so the jets didn't even work. Couldn't get into the building with our key. Not worth the price we paid.

Convenient

We're traveling along the Mississippi River and this hotel was conveniently located. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.
