Booked a jaccuzi suite and it was not as pictured! Very small and old . Only benefit is that it was clean

Only hotel within walking distance of my office

Posted Dec 8, 2017
Quiet and comfortable. Fulfilled my needs. Like the fact that I can buy groceries just up the street for breakfast.

Close to family

Posted Dec 4, 2017
Pros: The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is affordable. Good location.
Cons: The hotel facilities could use some TLC. It looks like the hotel has been updated recently, but it could benefit from a good surface touch up.
Location: Located right off Lougheed highway. Close to restaurants and shopping. Also near the skytrain.
We stay at the Executive Suites & Hotel every December when we visit family. It's conveniently located and close to a few restaurant options. The hotel also has a restaurant however it's currently being renovated. It's a nice & comfortable enough hotel for the weekend stay. It's got a few bumps and bruises in the elevators, hallways', and even our hotel room. We stayed in a deluxe double. It was a little cozy with two beds. Narrow hallway at the entrance of the hotel room, with a closet, kitchen, and bathroom on the left. The "room" had enough space for the two beds, a desk, and a tv stand. It was tight quartets for our family of 3 (2 adults and a baby) though the pack and play fit perfectly between the two beds. The hotel appears to have been updated however it already is a little run down (marks on the wall, rust on the bathroom fixtures.) The pillows are comfortable and the beds is a little on the firm side. Good black out curtains. Overall, it's an okay hotel. It works for a quick visit.

It tries

I suppose you can think it’s nice. TV is fuzzy and it’s kinda noisy. It’s clean and reasonably priced so it’s ok.

overpriced for the condition of an old hotel

Posted Nov 13, 2017
The hotel is a typical old hotel . The lobby is made to look great, but the rooms are poorly renovated. 1 single elevator, narrow hallways, old dirty carpeting everywhere, the baseboard heater was partly off the wall with the cover missing, baseboard trim was dirty and poorly done. For that price, plus parking plus no complimentary continental breakfast, this hotel falls short of it's competition and I wouldn't choose to book there again.

Nice location terrible experience

Posted Nov 12, 2017
We received an upgrade upon arrival because our room wasn’t ready which was great. Every guest receives a free 15 minute massage Monday-Friday that was a plus. Once in the room we tried to turn the heat on, it was broken. It took us at least an hour to try and figure out why it wasn’t working. The blinds were broken, so we couldn’t open the window. There was no fitted sheet over the mattress, just a regular sheet that consistently came off the mattress. Only one small blanket on the bed. The walls had lots of black marks, and stains. The bathroom wasn’t clean as there was other people’s toothpaste lids by the sink. The cups looked as if they hadn’t been changed from the time before. They had construction going on in the lobby and we could hear it on the 4th floor. The walls are very think so we could hear our neighbors conversations. Expedia sent us an email of “How was your check-in?” We listed exactly as we listed here and management of the hotel said “we will take care of this” not one thing was done. We have stayed at this hotel before and the first time was way better than the time. We won’t be staying here again unless they do some major changes

It was interesting and entertaining

It was entertaining seeing the different conventions and the rooms were awesome clean and so spacious. Our car battery did die and the staff was not very helpful but it was a good stay overall

Great hotel close to everything you may need.

Posted Oct 31, 2017
Pros: Location, room amenities.
Cons: Move smoking area away from under rooms, seal heating units.
Location: Great location close to sky train, highways and plenty of restaurants.
Stayed while at a conference in Downtown Vancouver, and the only issue we had was the smoke from people hanging out below our room made it into our sleeping space because the heating/ac unit wasn’t sealed. Bed was comfortable, rest of the room exceeded our expectations.
