Great trip!
Had surprise 80 th birthday party for a good friend . Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Breakfast was amazing, cooked fresh so much nicer.

We booked two rooms for a weekend wedding. The rooms were located on a separate building that we had to walk to down hill or through muddy grass. The two rooms are very outdated and not as clean as we expected. There were loads of spiderwebs and dead both live and dead spiders at the entrance and in the bedrooms. The bathroom had mould and the shower dripped all day and night. The walls are also super thin and we could hear phones vibrating and doors being slammed all around. We also had no choice in weather or not we wanted housekeeping. There was no sign to put on the door so we were surprised to find someone had been in our rooms without our consent. Rooms given were no where near what is advertised on Expedia. The service and staff were fantastic though.

My nephew married here so a full day, night and stop over at this beautiful hotel, it was absolutely magical, what an absolute beautiful venue, the staff where all absolutely friendly, helpful, and professional in all areas of the day. What an amazing day.

Room was lovely. Hairdryer was very dirty but was replaced quickly and easily. Staff were all friendly and helpful no question was unanswered. Being on my own at breakfast was not as awful as I thought it might be due to the friendly staff. Thanks

Friendly staff, lovely site but a bit tired
Friendly staff. Essentials clean but room decor and fitments very tired. Lovely situation with large gardens and balcony areas. Breakfast very good but one of the dinner meals very poor - over cooked fish, reheated soggy roasties and inedible asparagus.

Just what I needed tor the occasion
In this case I was travelling alone so just needed somewhere comfortable to rest my head and have a good breakfast. While this hotel is getting a bit threadbare, the walls are a bit thin, and the shower is a little tight, it fit my needs perfectly on this occasion. Staff are very pleasant and helpful breakfast and breakfast room are great.

the room was okay staff was all nice, It was the restaurant that was poor, food wasnt very good, one meal we sent back, potions was small, so not good value for money, Breakfast was like a kids Breakfast, dontbthink we will stop there again

ok I guess
Decor of the room was very dated. The bed was uncomfortable and the food was sub par. The reception was nice, there is plenty of parking and the location was good for me.

Room was good. However, the shower, shower head and shower curtain were mouldy. Quick spray of bleach and a scrub would have sorted it out, so no need. Staff were lovely and the views amazing!

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable with towels changed every day. A thoroughly relaxed stay, with great breakfast, which allowed me to concentrate on my business trip - not something I can always say!

Wasn’t bad wasn’t great. We had a lovely stay however the room could have been cleaned and more equipped. No toiletries in the room but had shoe polish 😂 the room was quite dated and the bathroom was filthy. However we did have a pleasant stay

Unfortunately when we checked in, the room allocated did not have sufficient beds for the number of guests we had booked for. It took 1.5hrs and 3 different beds before the issue was resolved. Not ideal when you have young children and want to get them settled swiftly (we checked in at 7pm with the hope of getting them straight into bed). Everything else about the hotel was fine, but obviously our key need was not met without significant disruption to our stay.

A little gem in the Burnley countryside
A great experience from beginning to end. Huge room (The Girlie room), which was very quiet given its position away from neighbouring guest rooms. Nice decor although the bathroom was a little small and needed more storage space for toiletries etc (I pointed this out to the staff). Food was good in a bar area overlooking pleasant countryside. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
