Typical motel

Dated, but comfortable. Manager was nice. But we saw a cockroach crawling on the carpet of our room. Cheap if you are trying to save money for Busch Gardens.

Pros: good price for the quality
Cons: noise
Location: it was okay
the hotel was nice but the partying in the parking lot was distribing horns going off all night plus loud people how rude. the office help was very nice did not talk to the house keeping people. . over all it was nice for the price.

Pros: Clean, Friendly owners
Cons: The breakfast is coffee and a few donuts in the office
Location: Very close to Busch Gardens and Adventure Island
We regularly go to Busch Gardens and stay at a hotel/motel for one night sometimes two. We have stayed at many of the places around and this is one of the nicer ones. We were a little concerned by it's appearance at first since it is a motel but the room smelled cleaner than many of the places we have stayed. The staff is the family that owns it and they are very nice. He gave me his card and said to call next time we want to stay for a discount. Being that the owners live on site they wouldn't want any undesirables hanging around like at some places I've stayed. There was a microwave and a fridge in the room and there is a gas station you can walk to if you want. It is almost as close as the Days Inn and cheaper and nicer. We said the whole time we have stayed at much worse for a lot more money.

My rate changed only because I wanted 2 beds as opposed to one. The location was not good for a traditional family. The ac unit attempts to drown out the urban noise that goes on all hours of the night. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is not enough to warrant a "free" label. Take the .50 of the bill and go to McDonald's. The staff was friendly.
