Great hotel for exploring the Antrim coast

Great place to have dinner and relax after a long day of exploring the beautiful northern coast and Giants causeway. Comfortable beds, friendly staff, quaint and full of warmth.

A nice hotel close to the Royal Portrush Golf Club, lots of hiking with fabulous views. Walking distance to the bush mills distillery. Staff are very well trained and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Elected to have dinner one night at the hotel and was not disappointed!! A must stay if you are in the area.

Well situated right in the tourist trail.

Pros: The atmosphere an ambiance. Although the hotel appears old, it was only created in the 1980s from an old chicken factory.
Cons: It would be nice to have a Bistro type eatery within the bar.
Location: Situated on the main A2, can,t miss it. The Bushmills distilery tour is within a quarter mile, we did,nt go, as many steps and stairs involved.
Upon arrival staff were extremely attentive and were personally shown to the room, and that dos,nt happen to often! the rooms are spacious and well appointed, we were impressed by a large flock of pied wagtails which settled down for the night in a large bush in front of our window The food was of high quality, though the menu was not extensive, and the breakfasts were very good. Sites like the Giants Causeway and Dunluce Castle are within 5 miles distance. As we have seen these attractions several times before, the day was spent at Portrush and Portstewart nearby.
