The staff were kind and welcoming and the room was nice. However, the elevators smelled of stale cigarette smoke. We also had a significant leak coming from around the light in the bathroom ceiling. We had to sop up the water with towels to use the bathroom safely. When we checked out we notified the front desk and were offered nothing for our inconvenience.

Every time I’m in Butler I always stay at this hotel. Staff is great, rooms spacious, handicapped walk in showers, comfortable beds. Close to everything.

Non-smoking room smelled like old smoke. Stains on the comforter and bed sheets smelled dirty. Bathroom clean but floor covered in water after shower. No hot water in the sink. Toaster did not work and there was no hot breakfast items at 8:30 even though breakfast was supposed to be served until 9. Common areas of the hotel were clean. Friendly staff. Lots of traffic noise even though hotel is situated on a mountain above main road. We are in the area a couple of times per year, but will not be back to this property.

Staff were very helpful and nice. Pool broke while we were there, so couldn't use it. We were not offered any compensation for the facilities not being available. It was something thay jad been a problem for a while and was not addrrssed until they had to shut it down.

Could have been better
We had an easy check in. Our room was exactly as we saw in pictures so that was good. The bathroom light and vent were on one switch and the fan smelled of burning electric wires. We told the front desk and they said there was nothing they could do. So we put a lamp in the bathroom. Very weird. Then the AC unit wouldn’t stay on for longer than 20 mins and would make a very high pitched beep noise when it shut off. We slept terribly the entire weekend. I don’t recommend staying here if you value sleep.

When we checked in we complained of cigarette smell and they tried to diffuse the room but still smelled when we returned to room. Also could not see our the window because it was so old and dirty. Will not stay here again
