Beach meters of your room

Posted Nov 27, 2017
Pros: Sound of the waves, room, silence, garden, beach and swimming pool
Cons: More waves for when we stayed ;-)
Location: Sosua, Playa encuentro, Puerto Plata, Cabarete
Excellent location far from the noise of the city, All you hear are the waves. The beach is right by the hotel garden, with a surf spot that works from time to time. The rooms are either wide open with just curtain and mosquito nets or semi opened or fully closed. Very original and pleasant. Service is great and very friendly. Very secure location

Get away from everything

Posted Mar 20, 2017 on Hotels
This hotel is exactly what I wanted but may not be for everyone. Stayed in the tree house suite. It had an open floor plan with 2 beds and an open shower (there was a door for the toilet). There were curtains to cover but it was all open and we could hear the ocean the whole time. Our room didn't directly overlook the ocean but it was so close that didn't matter to me, and most of the other rooms did overlook the ocean. I loved my time at this hotel, the staff was great. Our arrival was delayed by a rainstorm and we missed the dinner time but they still made us food when we got there. Very caring staff at a great place with a wonderful view. Just the get away I needed.

Very nice location with beachfront rooms and peace

Posted Jan 5, 2017
I went with my family to welcome the New Year. The attention was very personalized and the staff very kind, so it was a very different experience in comparison with big resorts. The Manager is very approachable and willing to help us to make the most during our stay.

Worst experience ever!!! Had to return back home!!

Posted Aug 27, 2016
Since you enter the hotel it smells terrible, like if they have issues with plumbing, also the main pool was too dirty with bugs, and the water looked almost green, all around looked unsafe for kids since they had too many things not taken care or in place, not to mention the horrible service from the staff, my reservation was mixed up and they wanted to charge additional for the mistake they made. The rooms they show are not like that in real, it seems in pics you have a kitchenette and living room in your bedroom kind of a mini bucks bungalow but the reality is that is the actual kitchen they use to cook for the guests this hotel is a total scam!!!

Dear Michelle We are sorry for your inconvenience but it seems you did not read the description correctly. The photos are real so your confusion is not our fault. There are 3 kitchens to be used for guests and 1 BBQ.

Posted Jul 11, 2016
Pros: Location, staff, view,
Location: Cabarete and Puerto Plata, are two small very nice beach towns nearby, so a visit to each town is a must, you can also see the caves nearby.
Magnificent location and view, staff are very friendly and welcoming , beach is very quite and clean, prices are very reasonable, they have a very nice bar on the beach which is perfect for a nice beach party, i will definitely come back again.
