Worst Hotel experiance I have ever had!

I will never come back to Casino Morongo hotel ever again. I booked my hotel through Expedia, so everything was paid for when I arrived. I stayed there on march 18th 2018. When I arrived I gave them my credit card to secure $ 200 refundable deposit on the room (for room damage or items purchased from the bar). After our stay I droped the key off in the express checkout, because the room was already paid for (Big mistake, because I didnt get a reciept). A couple weeks later a noticed a charge from Casino morogo on my credit card bill for $158. I called morongo to despute the charge and I spoke with the rudest person ever. I explained the situation to her and she kept saying that I needed to talk to expedia to dispute the charge. I told her morongo wasnt suposed to charge me because the room was paid in advance so I need to talk to you. She would not give me info on the charge because I said I paid through expedia. I called back 3 times to get info on my stay and I was denied and was told to speak with billing, even though no one was availiable in that department. I call one last time before I decided to dispute it with my credit card and I didnt mention expedia and got info on the charges to dispute. After 2 days of disputing I finally got a hold of a plesent lady in billing and got the charges removed. The moral of the story is to always get a reciept or they will double charge you and hope you dont notice.

An old hotel.

The rooms are not bad. The main advantage of the hotel is that it is in walking distance from one of the best outlets on the west coast.

Large hotel/casino

Very large hotel complex with casino. Several restaurant options. Don’t understand the bathroom /shower set/up. Beautiful pool/lazy river. Pleasant staff.

Great get-away...great location

Started out with check-in, all went well except I was hoping for 2 Queen beds even though online I could only get a king... didn’t seem like hotel was booked but the desk clerk wouldn’t give it to me. The room was in a good location so it was ok and I was mainly there for the pool which was great. Staff by the pool great. Food was great and mall down the road was fantastic. A great place all and all. I would go back.

Enjoyed our Stay

Pros: Lazy river pool, cheap slot machines, Serranos restaurant, friendly staff, location, nice room
Cons: Keep pool area open later, place chairs around the lazy river, not just lounge chairs, provide night time entertainment, like a live band or dj
I brought my 20 year old daughter here for a couple of days during her spring break. We only live about an hour away. She was happy that she could try a slot machine for the first time. We were both happy that the machines were cheap and you could insert cash and pull a handle to play. The casino was smoky. She really enjoyed the lazy pool but we were sad that it closed at 7:00. The hotel wasn't too busy during our stay, but it was still a little difficult to find 2 available lounge chairs around the lazy river pool. We ate at the Serranos restaurant both nights of our stay because we enjoyed the food, the combo meals in particular. Our room on the 18th floor was comfortable and had a nice view of the mountains. On our second night, our room key would not work. I am glad there was a phone by the elevator so we could call for assistance and didn't have to go all the way down to the front desk to get assistance. All of the staff we dealt with were very friendly. Our plans were to go to the Joshua Tree National Park and Palm Springs. The hotel is about 30-40 minutes from each of these locations which was good for us.

Nice hotel!

Pros: Clean & comfy rooms! Has great places to eat as well! Some open 24 hours!
Cons: Some live music in casino during week nights.
Location: Didn't leave casino or hotel.
Anniversary trip. Great room with rose petals...nice touch! Clean, comfy, and great pool available! Would definitely stay here again!

The staff was great - helpful and friendly. The room was nice. The happy hour at Cielo was a don’t miss . The casino tables were a minimum of $15 even early morning.

Nice room close to outlet shops and Palm Springs

Clean room conveniently located to shops and Palm Springs. Large, nice bathroom. Friendly staff. Valet parking included.
