Beautiful resort! More than I expected.

The resort was beautiful! The hotel grounds,rooms, restaurants, and even the pool restrooms were always clean. My stay was more than expected! I went on an all girls trip and would definitely be back with my family. Although we could not get in the beach water the view was spectacular! Staff around the grounds were wonderful! Manuel our pool server was awsone!Johnathan and Noemi our lobby bar servers were the best! The only complaint we had were the 2 separate experiences with our restaurant services. so bad they lost our order one day and forgot our order the next day. (2 separate restaurants) so bad the waitress started arguing with us and gave us bad looks the next day! But management definitely made up for it the rest of our stay. I had a birthday to remember!

Bad bad service

Very bad service. Had to wait very long for food order. When finally got the order it was cold. Another experience the waiter lost food order. Another experience the waiter argued with us saying they had already brought the dish we ordered and we had been waiting for it over 30 minutes With this bad experience the resort was very understaffed and very rude.

I had an amazing 6 days Dreams and enjoyed most of it. My only complaint/disappointment would be the food, it was not very good, too many sauces too many selections and different combinations. Maybe if the recipes were a little more basic the food quality could be maintained. I also had talked to a few people in the pool who had become ill which put me on high alert as to what I was eating. i would recommend packing your own snacks and using the trip as a time not to eat too much.

Not family friendly

This was probably one of the worst vacation we have taken. We travel frequently and we have visited Mexico more than 15 or so times. Every time better than the next. The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were clean, the actual servers and front desk employees were great. But this hotel is not family friendly. We were 5 family couples traveling from all over the world to meet. We were not allowed to sit more than 6 people at a table. We were not allowed to use the beach. we were not allowed to use the lunch cafe attached to the pool unless we were dressed. We were not allowed to have food on our lawn chairs next to the pool. We were not allowed to smoke outside (I understand smoke free rooms but no smoking on the premises which was not advertised on their website). Entertainment was minimal, 6 days of vacation felt long and boring. We were glad when we were leaving.

Resort is average, but the beach is beautiful

Have been to this resort years ago and it is still aged like before. Very average resort and the food is average also. The only redeeming quality is the beach. There are other much nicer resorts in Cabo.

Best All-inclusive Resort

Amazing staff, rooms, pool and FOOD. We were surprised how amazing the food was (not just for an all-inclusive resort but in general!) Oceana was our favorite! Amazing! Only 2 downsides. Can't swim in the ocean at the resort, which if you've been to Cabo you should already expect this. But there are beaches you can go to by cab. The resort also can take you on Tues and Fri for $20 a person. The other downside, entertainment shows at night. We were expecting better shows because we've been to a different Dreams resort before; however, we only enjoyed the one show, the Fire show. Overall, it was a fantastic getaway and we would definetely return to this particular resort again!!

Beautiful hotel, bad food.

The hotel is beautiful. The views are gorgeous. The room (one bedroom family suite on 5th floor) was clean and spacious with a great view of the resort and the ocean. The reception and cleaning staff were very friendly. The restaurant staff seemed stressed, over-worked and generally unhappy. The breakfast food was good. The rest of the food was...bad. I'm not a "foodie" but still...bad. The beach in front of the hotel is gorgeous, but you are not allowed to swim there. We walked about 1/2 hour to the left, saw a baby turtle and swam in front of the Hilton.

Beautiful hotel with great service

From the first greeting to the last goodbye the staff here made you feel so welcome and at home. As soon as you arrive you are greeted with a cool towel and glass of champagne. From there on the service continues to be incredible. The view from our room was perfect. The hotel is right on the beach so you can walk straight onto the beach. You cannot swim at this beach however. The restaurants were fantastic with amazing crews. We got Ricardo as the manager to some restaurants and he made us feel like family. I would definitely return to this hotel for future stays.

Nice hotel

Good experience great room service, mlnl bar nerds some upgrade. Beer, soda and water. Needs something for the ladies (small bottles of wine or wine coolers). .

Nice ocean view from the balcony

Pros: The massage from the spa was amazing, and the music and pool area was the most fun.
Cons: Food.
Location: Golf courses within 5 minutes, if you take a bus or 30 minutes to San Lucas to the mall and Marina for a nice dinner cruise.
Let me start by saying we only ended up at this hotel at the last moment due to Hurricane Liddia that hit the area 1 week before our departure. We were scheduled at the Riu in San Lucas, Upon arriving we were approached immediately about becoming resort Members (a lot like timeshare but without certain penalties) before even getting checked in, didn't not appreciate that. The resort had 5 restaurants on site but they closed all but 1 or 2 each day due to "not enough guests". Each place, with the exception of the grill right next to the pool, had horrible food, most server and waiters spoken very little or very broken English, we tried the buffet beside Portofino's for dinner, and couldn't eat for all the flies all over the food. Aside of having a beautiful view of the ocean, the location is right in the middle of San Jose and San Lucas therefore there's nothing to do within walking distance. Our room had constant ants in the bathroom and around the coffee pot area, the sliding door handle to the balcony was broken. I couldn't get the cleaning folks to sweep and mop the floor. We tried to go down to their disco area to watch some football but it smelled just like a guys locker room. If we go back to Cabo we will definitely be going to a different companies resort.
