Nice hotel but restaurants are extremely expensive

Location: Not overly close to anything but that view was good. Shopping is very limited compared to Cancun but we did do the Sunset Cruise and it was wonderfu
The hotel is very nice but it is extremely expensive. An all inclusive would be much better. The waiters almost demand tips. We had several that told us not to leave the tip on the room so they could get paid quicker. Our last day there the service was sub-par and they charged us for at least 2 rounds of drinks that we didn't get. The food was very good, just limited selection and extremely expensive. The view is wonderful from the rooms and the rooms are very well setup with washer/dryer and small kitchenette. If you choose to do the "green effect", you will not get any housekeeping during your stay, even the towels.

Great rooms, location and staff, poor facilties

We had a good experience at the Westin which was highlighted by the awesome room. The views were good, everything was clean, and the vast majority of staff were very friendly and tried to help (though there were plenty of incidents of "Mexican time". Two big negatives were 1) THERE IS NO BEACH! You can't (ever) go into the water, so if this is important to you, don't stay here (why we won't come back). They don't make this clear on the website despite lots of "pictures" of the beach. 2) The restaurants are really expensive, not open all the time, and the pool is only average (no slide, main pool doesn't allow kids, etc).

However, it is certainly disappointed to read that you encountered inconveniences with our beach, restaurant prices and operation hours. We would like to mention that our Cocina Casera opens daily for breakfast and dinner, Coralline restaurant opens for lunch as well as Margaritas and La Cantina bars, El Ciruelo restaurant opens only for dinner, and we also have a deli Market "Mercadito" stock up on food and beverage staples — including fresh produce and meat, wine and various deli items. Additionally, our guests have the option to order of our in room dining menu. Prices are generally the same in Los Cabos areas as part of being part of a prestige destination. Beautiful hotel

Staff was excellent they help us with all the activities to do in Cabo. Room was great having a full working kitchen was the best.

Waiting for my refund

Pros: Attendance in front are great
Cons: Get my money back from your false changes
Our stay was great until we left and found a charge on my credit card for over $1600 I was told by the staff to wait three weeks for refund. It has been six weeks and multiple calls to hotel and nothing. I keep giving them my phone number and getting a promise for a call back. Last call I was told to file a claim with my bank. Useless to keep calling when nobody can help. They will never get my business again. Stay at a hotel with a beach you can use

Since the minute we arrived, we felt very comfortable with all the staff. They greeted us and offered us a glass of refreshing punch, it was a very hot day. I fell in love with the view from my room. I was fascinated with the immense ocean in front of my bed view. Overall we had the best stay.
