Great location in the old town.

Enjoyed the shops, the old architecture & the church plus the main square in the evening where everyone gathers...all within walking distance.

Nice staff... a lot of stairs even before or after you leave the elevator... but worth it

Nice hotel in the centre.

Nice hotel in the centre. Access a little difficult as lots of one way narrow roads. Not great in lengthy sports car! Parking is in nearby multi storey, which is done by the hotel porter and returned on request.

Charming hotel in a medieval palace

Posted Nov 17, 2016 on Hotels
Beautifully designed hotel, in a centre of perhaps the most charming medieval village in Spain. We coincidentally arrived during Mercado Medieval Festival. We loved our stay here, a highlight of our 3 week trip through Spain.

Excellent!

Pros: The building is a 16th c. stone palace that was beautifully converted into a hotel with elegant contemporary furniture and large rooms. It is at a walking distance of the city center as well of the historic old Cáceres. The hotel staff was very courteous and helpful.
Cons: The only inconvenience is that they do not have a parking garage on-site. The car has to be parked at a city garage that it’s close to the hotel but difficult to find if it is the first time you are getting into town. But, it is not a problem since the hotel has a valet service.
Location: It's close to Old Cáceres, a World Heritage Site, with its cobbled medieval streets within Moorish walls and Gothic and Renaissance noble houses.

Excellent location in the heart of the old city

Posted Jul 31, 2015
Pros: Historic and luxurious
Cons: The breakfast was pretty god, but outrageously expensive
Location: If you go to Cacers on a Monday, virtually everything is closed. Disappointing
Stayed 2nights and really enjoyed it. Cacers is a god base for the North of spain.

Lovely hotel on quaint square

Posted Jun 4, 2015
Beautiful hotel on a cute square in a central part of the city. If you are American, driving through the town to get to the hotel is a little scary...they have partnered with a parking garage, Parking Galarza, that is a few blocks from the hotel. Try driving in during siesta to drop your bags off and then leave the car at that garage.
