"The host Paulette and Simon were very accommodating. We arrived at 1:00am in the morning. I called them for direction to our lodging. They met us at our car with flashlights and friendly smiles. They checked in with us regularly to see if we needed anything or wanted suggestions to places to eat etc. The home was clean, quaint and historical ( build in 1700’s). "This is a solid European 3-Star accommodation walking distance to City Center, parks, shops, bars, restaurants and the famed views of the Pyrenees mountains. Our two bedroom unit was clean, efficient and well kept with good coffee, stocked kitchen with dishes, glasses and the very important cork screw. Plenty of room for the family along with strong, fast Wi-fi. There is a Monoprix market (small city grocery store) walking distance. We used it mostly for wine, cheese snacks, and fresh produce but it also has standard groceries. The front desk staff was friendly and did help us out in English. We felt secure as the entrance is locked at night with a pass code for residents. The staff has clear sight of all entering as well. One drawback, no safe in the room however. Regarding their food, we ate out most days but the breakfast looked good if you need to eat at the facility. Overall, I would recommend it for folks needing simple no frills accommodation staying in Pau."

"Enjoyable 1 night stopover stay, was warmly welcomed by reception after a little difficulty locating the Quick Palace's driveway, off a busy road. Perfect en-suite dog freindly room with a pleaseant garden view. Parking directly outside, secure hotel access. Dog exercise area can be found a short walk behind the commercial centre across the main road opposite Quick Palace's driveway. Extremely close to re-join France's West Coast toll road network."

"We had the reduced mobility room, which was excellent for the price. The location is perfect for the Rugby ground but also for various shops and restaurants nearby...our favourites are Léon and Noz for lots of bargains. The bus stop into the town centre is just outside the gates of the hotel. Plentiful parking and excellent staff. "
