A gem of a hotel
Great staff ,especially Omero who is very helpful, along with Virginia and Mateo. Hotel is very clean, restaurant food excellent, and the pool fantastic.2 mins from beach and bars, but a drive into town, otherwise 20+ min walk ( in the heat) Great holiday- Many thanks

Quiet and out of the way, but very nice
Nice place, hotel in good condition,excellent pool. Young staff sometimes confused about how to help. Room was clean and the AC worked well. Good restaurant. Area is small, but a nice little harbour with some restaurants and bars that were active at night

Good hotel - but beware of wedding bashes
The hotel has a spectacular view and rooms are large. This was our second stay because we had a great experience the first year, but we were there for three days only. We came back because we wanted to visit the beautiful area near the golfo di Gonessa, S.Antioco and all the western coast of Sardinia. The hotel staff were polite and accommodating, but we were pretty disappointed that the management didn't consider our comfort when the hotel was booked for a wedding party. Our room faced the swimming pool area, but unfortunately this area was rented for the party. The party started at 10:00 pm with high volume band music, jokes of a DJ with microphone and approx. 200 people drinking and participating to the party. I complained at the reception desk with no result. The party lasted until 2:30 in the morning. I understand that profit is important for a hotel business, but what about respect for the hotel guests?

Lovely peaceful hotel
We really loved the fabulous see view from our balcony. It was a short walk to the nice beach. The hotel offered mouth watering food at reasonable price. The staff was very helpful. So we just loved our stay. Portoscuso isn't a small town so you get more about your stay if you have a car. From the hotel it is 15 minutes walk to the city.

Great hotel
We found the staff really friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Hotel is 100 m from the beach. Wifi was a little intermittent at the hotel but that was the only slight downside. Best thing about holiday though was the Italians. They were so kind to us the whole time we were there . From waiters, bar staff the fiat dealership people who got a part for our hire car (thanks Alberto) everyone ! We love the Italians ! Tip. Keep google translator close at hand and it goes down quite well by showing willing to at least try to speak the beautiful language .

A little out of the way
Not real convenient to town, so restaurant choices are limited to 2. Friendly staff generous with information on what to visit in the area. Pretty setting with views across to the nearby islands. Floor in room could have been swept of stray sand more frequently.

Hotel bom, atendimento excelente e café da manhã muito bom. As instalações do quarto são antigas e precisam de alguns cuidados: o cobertor do quarto não é confortável, faltam travesseiros (tínhamos somente 02 travesseiros para duas pessoas). Pelo preço, eu esperava mais. Mas no geral é um bom hotel

Großzügige Anlage in Gehweite zu einer wunderschönen Bucht, sehr schöne große Gartenanlage mit Pool, allerdings sehr windanfällig. Restaurant und Frühstücksraum leider nicht im Freien. Schönes spa.

Amazing seaviews and close to sightseeings
Amazing location close to many beautiful sights, bays for snorkeling and beaches for chilling within 45 min drive. We got the suite, which was big and cosy and with a private terrasse with amazing sea views. Watching the sun set over the Mediterranean Sea from the terrasse was beautiful. Only minus was that the beds were very hard, and that the room had no real shower but a bathtub with a hand held shower hose that was too short. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with everything. They did all they could to satisfy all guests. They even served breakfast outside at the pool when we asked for it. Breakfast buffet was ok with too much cake though. The beach is only 50-100 meters away and very packed in peak season. However we were always able to find a spot for 4 persons. There are two nice beach bars right on the beach. The one closest to the hotel makes good pizzas from stoneowen. The city of Portoscuso is one of three sites in Sardinia that can legally fish tuna. The old center of the town is cosy but avoid the industrial area to the south of the city though. Most of the factories are no longer in service. This is an authentic fishing town. I highly recommend a stay at this hotel but bring the car as you might want to see more than just the one local beach in Portoscuso.

Great facilities, but could use some improvement
The pool area was really nice and the location of the hotel was great with beautiful sunsets! The rooms were not super clean and had a bit of a stuffy smell. Some of the staff had a bit of an attitude when we asked for simple tips such as parking and getting a print of an important document we needed. Not as helpful and smiling as we experienced in other hotels in Sardinia - which could have created a better atmosphere at the hotel.

Hotellet i seg selv var veldig flott! Utsikten var nydelig, og man kunne se solen gå ned i havet fra balkongen. Hyggelig personale og rene rom. Frokosten var inkludert i prisen, og var helt ok. Litt rart at 80% besto av kaker som ble fylt på kontinuerlig, mens egg og bacon kun ble fylt på en gang. Dette ble bestandig tomt, og hvis man er der etter 08:30 kan du glemme å få noe. Ellers synes jeg beliggenheten til hotellet er dårlig, annet enn at utsikten er utrolig vakker. Portoscuso var et veldig kjedelig sted. Kun to restauranter i nærheten, og den ene svindler deg for penger. Er noen få restauranter i byen, men det er en liten gåtur. Dessuten er det kun pizzeriaer eller sjømat. Restauranten på hotellet tilbyr mat, men denne var svært kjedelig og ikke spesielt god. Fikk også beskjed om at man måtte velge en 3 retters middag for å spise der. For det meste sjømat, men litt kjøtt innimellom. Ville ikke bodd på dette hotellet om du ikke har bil. Stranden i nærheten er virkelig stappfull, så om du ikke vil dele håndkle med 10 andre så er det helt nødvendig å kjøre andre steder.

Hope you like going for a long walk for dinner
Hotel itself was ok but the breakfast was at best mediocre and kept running out of everything. The staff walked right by empty water bottles, juice and other things and would only bring new items when specifically asked. Unless you enjoy choosing your dinner from a daily very limited menu (preset too high price) avoid the restaurant. The promised (by reception) a la carte menu did not exist. And the waiters could not get rid of us fast enough when we asked for it.

Tolles Hotel direkt an der Küste
Zimmer mit traumhaften Meerblick, sehr schöner Garten mit Pool und vielen Liegen. Sehr entspannte Atmosphäre, gutes Frühstück und ausgezeichnetes Abendessen. Wir hatten nur mit Frühstück gebucht, konnten aber Abends spontan auch aus dem Halbpension-Menü wählen. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Insgesamt OK aber der Preis ziemlich ambitioniert
Schöne Lage, der Blick vom Pool aufs Meer ist toll. Wenige Schritte die Straße runter zu einem wunderschönen Strand. Das Zimmer soweit sauber aber ziemlich antiquiert. Betten bequem. Man hört noch im Bett das Meer rauschen. Balkon mit Möbeln ausgestattet, Das Frühstück wird leider drinnen in einem kleinen Raum mit Blick auf den Wirtschaftshof serviert. Warum? Es wären alle Möglichkeiten für ein Frühstück mit Aussenplätzen vorhanden. Das Frühstück selbst nicht üppig aber OK. jeden Tag das gleiche. Auf seinen Kaffee muss man auch mal etwas warten. Parkplatz befindet sich auf dem eingezäunten Grundstück. In den Ort zu den Restaurants muss man ein Stückchen laufen. Es gibt aber einen sehr schönen Weg immer am Waser lang. Zurück allerdings unbeleuchtet.

Muy confortable
Lugar tranquilo con vistas espectaculares. Habitación amplia, muy limpia y con buena insonorización. Cama excelente, de más de 1,50 m. Baño espacioso. El bufet del desayuno es muy variado y dispone de unos pasteles deliciosos. Piscina y césped alrededor muy bien cuidados. La playa se encuentra a menos de 5 minutos andando. El centro del pueblo queda un poco lejos, pero hay un bonito paseo por la costa, de unos 20-25 minutos.

Hotel perfetto vicino al mare
Ci siamo appoggiati a questo hotel come base per la nostra visita alla costa sud occidentale della sardegna. Hotel con piscina pulito e tenuto benissimo vicino ad una spiaggetta moto carina. Ottimo anche il ristorante. Leggermente fuori da Portoscuso ma in ottima posizione per non vedere le ciminiere che svettano sul paese. Lo consiglieremmo senz'altro.

Ottima location hotel zona poco turistica
Struttura hotel molto bella e singolare buona colazione dolce salato camere ampie e pulitissimo letto molto comodo stanze nel silenzio assoluto. Parcheggio gratuito molto spazioso. La cittadina di portoscuso piccola con porticciolo graziosa ma normale. Spiaggia adiacente hotel normale mare pulito ma niente di eccezionale considerata la zona. Ristoranti in cittadina buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Comunque soddisfatto del soggiorno ancorché breve.

Hotel che dista pochi metri a piedi dalla spiaggia ( sempre affollata, noi non ci siamo mai potuti andare!). Camera con vista mare. Il terzo letto era una brandina scomoda Personale molto cortese. Complimenti alla ristorazione serale: ottima. Da migliorare la colazione: i cornetti arrivano solo se li ordini e per un 4 stelle non va bene. Sempre le stesse cose, le torte sembravano confezionate. Manca il pane per toast e quasi tutti i prodotti confezionati sono marca secondaria (c'è il "surrogato" della nutella). Purtroppo il paese offre molto poco e non è bello. La zona non la consiglio, è vicino a Portovesme quindi industriale. Occorre l'auto. La piscina è pulita (acqua salata). Chiedete alla reception gli ombrelloni da portare in spiaggia ( li hanno ma non è scritto da alcuna parte, quindi noi l'abbiamo comprato e lasciato alla partenza). Hotel spartano con wifi che non è mai andato. Direi che le 4 stelle valgono per la cortesia del personale e il ristorante.

Settimana meravigliosa!
L'albergo è tradizionale, ha un'area esterna bellissima con ampio giardino e piscina. Si trova in posizione perfetta per raggiungere in pochissimo tempo sia l'isola di Sant'Antioco (in auto) che l'isola di San Pietro (in auto o anche senza) prendendo il traghetto dal vicino porto di Portovesme. La spiaggia del paese è abbastanza vicina ma si consiglia di muoversi verso le altre località vicine, che sono raggiungibili in auto. Le stanze sono sempre perfette, il personale è sempre disponibile e cordiale, si consiglia la mezza pensione per deliziarsi con lo spettacolare ristorante! Colazione varia e abbondante, con prodotti fatti in casa. Consigliato per tutti, sia per coppie di tutte le età che per famiglie.
