Regarding the room, I'm sorry to learn that this wasn’t to your liking. You have been staying in a Superior garden view room. These rooms, haven’t been affected yet by the restructuring plan started a few years ago, even though the non-renovated rooms have a more traditional Sardinian style and décor, they absolutely meet all the standards and comfort of a 5-star hotel. I am surprised that you've found lack of landscape in our garden. Here at Pullman Timi Ama we are proud to be surrounded by 11 hectares of park and vegetation, to have a forest of juniper trees and very colorful bougainvillea. Despite the generosity of nature towards us I am sorry that it wasn’t of your liking. Due to the high occupancy of that day, our front office manager could not offer you to change for the same type of room you booked, but immediately offered you a very good deal (considering the time of the season) to upgrade to an Executive room. However the following day we did make the actions of moving you to a different room Finally, I am also sorry to learn that you found unsatisfactory the soundproofing, I would like to inform you that in all the renovated rooms we have also introduced improvements in this regard. About our staff making noise, you can be sure I already informed the HR and the restaurant manager to prevent this unpleasant situations, however this is not the kind of behavior our team members are used to and I kindly ask you to accept our most sincere apologies. Dear guest, Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at Pullman Timi Ama. I am sorry to read that your experience did not entirely meet your expectation. I am also disappointed to read that you didn’t appreciate the location of our hotel, usually very fancied by our guests. Our hotel has an exceptional location, on the edge of a natural salt lake and at less than 500 meters from the sea and surrounded by 11 hectares of nature. We have one of the most beautiful beach of Sardinia in front of the hotel with a private space of more than 300 beach umbrellas and (in supplement) private gazebo. In case you aren’t satisfied with all that space provided by the beach, we also have equipped different spaces in which to relax at any time of the day. We have a Lobby Bar by the pool or on the terrace, private gazebos (in supplement) on the lawn, panoramic terraces on the 3rd floor and a Connectivity Lounge with comfortable chairs , television, computers and music. Regarding your comments on our ‘’online limited staff’’ I can ensure you that any email is treated in a really short time, maximum 24 hours upon its receipt and has a follow-up to ensure a quick response. It is absolutely not our intention nor our interest to let any kind of request without any answer. We are ready to welcoming you again upon your next stay, trying then to regain your confidence. Actually we receive very few feedbacks of this kind, so we think to please the majority of our guests: indeed Pullman bedding have been specially designed to offer the greatest orthopedic comfort and ensure perfect support of the spine during sleep. Nevertheless I am sorry that it haven’t answer your expectations. I am on the other hand surprise that you found that there was ‘’not a great deal to do or see nearby’’, you may haven’t experience snorkeling, scuba diving, horse riding, golf, the Cagliari Tour and a lot more activities that are organized on the coast or inland. I am sorry that your experience did not entirely meet your expectations.For the buffet, our breakfast is regularly restored in every dishes until 10.00 am and, in order to refilled the buffet our staff need to go back to the kitchen. This short period of time may have confused you, but I can assure you that our staff is very attentive to offer the best service. Regarding your comment on your inability to book an à la carte meal, please let me explain.You wanted to have dinner at I Ginepri, our Beach Restaurant but the it was booked for a special and private event. Our Food and Beverage Manager then, offer you the possibility to have an à la carte dinner at La Veranda, in which we usually offer a buffet dinner. Please note that you also have the possibility to eat à la carte at Il Mediterraneo and at Su Tea, our newly Gourmet and Rooftop Restaurant. I am sorry to hear that the communication between our different departments may have in one way or another, bother you, I am at your disposal if you want to explain in more detail the reasons for this comment. I would like to inform you that the transfer is a service proposed by our hotel through an agency that has its rates aligned on the market’s ones. Plus, I’d like to clarify that on our web site and all other communication channels we have, price and information are listed. At the airport you also have all the information (regulated by law) provided on half boards about the transfer cost, whether you decide to book it through our agency or not. On the other hand, we do propose a free shuttle service to Villasimius several times per day and I am sorry to read that you wasn’t entirely satisfied by this service. We appreciate you sharing your concerns, we look forward welcoming you again.

I am so disappointed to know that the variety and freshness of our food (we are proud to work with local providers), usually very appreciated by our customers, was not to your liking. We offer 14 themed buffets at La Veranda restaurant: Mediterranean, Sardinian, Gala, Caribbean, Oriental ... themes with a wide selection of seafood, shellfish, grilled meat, pasta, risotto. This allows our guests to savor international cuisine, but also Italian, Sardinian and Mediterranean specialties. Then we also propose a à la carte beach restaurant, at I Ginepri which offers a wide range of Sardinian specialties and at Il Mediterraneo. We have also opened on July Su Tea, our Rooftop Gourmet restaurant where we hope to welcome you soon on a future stay. But I am sorry to read that from an exhaustive list of dishes and different choice of restaurants you have found our food “average”. With regard to the cleanliness of the room, it is of paramount importance to which we devote several hygiene and quality controls during the season. We can assure that the various control cleaning results have been exceeded and therefore, I am sorry to know that cleaning was not entirely his own positive evaluation. I immediately forwarded your comment to the Principal Housekeeper and I can assure you that all necessary actions will be taken to improve the quality of cleanliness in the rooms.

I’m disappointed to read that not everything went as expected and that you are disappointed by your experience. To better understand what happened, I turned to our Front Office Manager who remembers very well of you and your wife. You booked and were assigned a classic room bay side, not yet renovated. Our Front Office Manager explained me that you complained about the bed (separate mattresses and too soft) and the bad smell inside the room. As for the smell, we have immediately asked to our Housekeeper in person to check the room, but any bad smell was perceived. Actually it’s quite strange as no one ever complained about smelly rooms in that area of the hotel has been. From what I understand, the receptionist who assisted you proposed you to see a renovated room with a more comfortable double bed. As our usual practice, before accompanying you to see the new room, she informed you of the surcharge you would have to pay if you had decided to change to a superior room. It seems to me frankly exaggerated to say that the receptionist then started to barter with you to see how much you were willing to pay for the new room. After explaining that the proposed rate was discounted - € 100.00 per night instead of € 134.00 -, and that we were in the middle of our peak season with very few available rooms, given your reaction, she just asked what did you value the refurbished room. Perhaps the question was inappropriate, but believe me, it was not her intention to trade. I'm sorry you didn’t appreciate our little gesture on the next day with a note and a bottle of sparkling wine (not cheap at all!) delivered to your room. We are sorry to learn that the room felt short of your expectations. I take this opportunity to inform you that we have started a massive restructuring plan for the rooms. I really hope I’ll have the chance to accommodate you in one of our newly renovated rooms on the occasion of a future stay. I thank you once again for your review.
