Cons: some repairs need to be done to the swimming pool steps. bathroom needs updating/ renovating rather than fixing broken bits (which is obvious)
very relaxing. efficient staff. excellent amenities. pool is absolutely beautiful and gym was sufficient.

worst beds ever.

Both queen beds were lumpy. The distance from the lifts to your room are way too long. Will never stay here again.

great hotel next to the ocean

Pros: location and view
Location: book day tours at reef fleet terminal, have dinner at the restaurant with ocean view, walk along the beach...
great location, great view, nice room and delicious food.

Perfect location.

The Shangri-La is in the perfect location for one to enjoy the wonders of Cairns. With a great staff, comfortable rooms, and a tasty breakfast buffet, what more could one ask. The TUSA dive dock is steps away which makes for an easy adventure without the worry of finding transportation. Within 150 meters, one can find a variety of restaurants to suit one pallet.

Nice hotel at the Marina

Pros: The location, clean, free complimentary wifi.
Cons: The pillows can be more firm. The temperature of the water in the pool is a bit too cold for toddlers.
Location: The Marina has many dining options available.
Great location, really comfortable room. The pillows could be better however.

We stayed in room 3005. The room was spacious and had an amazing view of the marina. Convenient location for charters. We had the buffet breakfast included. Also included was beverages and appetizers between 5pm-7pm. Definitely returning again!

Nice room with a great view

Check in was very easy, staff was very helpful. There is a beautiful pool area. This is a really good location 5 minute walk to to the reef wharf. Also close to good bars and restaurants.

The hotel is at the best location and the steak house at the first floor is one of the best at Cairns

Great staff very helpful shame about the condition of the the room i was in the bathroom was in a very poor condition for a 5 star hotel cracked basin silicone sealer around everything the shower very old and worn out but worked ok ,the refrigerator leaked water, everything in the room needed redecorating on the plus side the staff were great and the service they provided was good the swimming pool excellent i would go again it would be nice if they spent a bit on the rooms
